“This is a truly one of a kind campsite! So much beauty, tranquility and awe. We had the entire site to ourselves as there wasn't an event going on in the common space. Not sure how often the large space even gets used, based on what I have read of other's experiences. I do think though, if there were people using it, we wouldn't have been as relaxed. Lots of acreage on this site and it felt very remote. Definitely did NOT feel like I was camping in someone's front yard. Quite the opposite really. Yeah, sure you hear the random dog bark, or cyclists chatting as they pass through, or in our case a chainsaw roaring..but overall very peaceful. This was a gorgeous location and the babbling brook made it like something out of a fairytale. My husband and I brought our 1 year old daughter and she had a blast splashing away and digging in the mud. The trek from the car to the site was ok and part of the experience. I will admit though, I wished that there were something to hold onto when turning from the narrow dirt path and down to the foot bridge over the stream. A wooden railing would have mad me feel a wee bit safer. Overall we had a wonderful weekend and I have already recommended it to a few friends.”

We had the entire campsite (Tentrr area, firepit and picnic areas) to ourselves this weekend and truly enjoyed our stay. Mark has truly put thought in every area of the campsite. “Absolutely beautiful property was a perfect short getaway for my wife and myself. Mark our host was kind enough to let us have the immaculate 6 acre property completely to ourselves. We had done some introductions over the phone prior to our arrival and never saw him so I called after departure to let him know that we truly appreciated the COMPLETE privacy! I’d like to address any negative comments in other reviews perhaps they were having a bad day because our experience was simply ideal. Don’t miss this gem it’s an amazing place to decompress. “Marks campsite was amazing! He created this beautiful Oasis in the woods. The bed was comfortable. His wife provided 4 gallons of water for us from the creek. Both Mark and his wife were very responsive and helpful and informed us on where to buy meats and wines! It was a great experience!”

“The host is great and the area is beautiful. It is well cared for and overall we enjoyed our stay. There's a cute winery up the road that sold some nice Pinot, good eats in the little town down the road. However there are a few negatives that I should mention here that perhaps the owner might take into consideration when reviewing his own pricing: There is no running water. Using the stream is a health concern and we wouldn't do it. We ended purchasing some from town. The area in completely shaded during the day so having a sun shower is not going to happen. It feels a lot like camping in someone's front yard, because that's exactly what it is. It's a cleared space directly across from the owners property, he built all the recreational space to host parties. Most people get to use the amenities with his permission but it can feel a bit like you're invading his space. And finally - its directly off a road. You can see cars quite clearly as they drive by, and hear them. Granted its a small access road, but there is still plenty of through traffic. All in all though, I had a good enough experience that I'm back on Tentrr again looking for a quick getaway.”
