Great campsite and idyllic location! This was our first time using Tentrr and was a superb experience. Thomas and his family were hospitable and welcoming. They extended their contact for anything we need—but we had everything and more to thoroughly enjoy our trip. Made for a memorable birthday weekend!

This was my first Tentrr experience and it was great! My boyfriend and I went to River's Edge for the night and were really pleased with the location and set-up. It rained most of the day/night but that made it even more peaceful! You can hear some road traffic but it didn't distract from the sound of the river and birds chirping. It was pretty buggy (to be expected) so make sure you bring bug spray!

Absolutely perfect... The campsite was easy to access, beautiful, and set up wonderfully. The views of the river are magnificent and my dog loved playing near the edge and swimming. The campkeeper, Hall, was friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this site.

This was an excellent site with beautiful views! Firewood and water was provided, which was a huge plus. Hall (Thomas) was extremely kind and hospitable - he even gave us a cooler to use! While the site is fairly close to the main road, it still feels secluded and you won't hear cars at night. We went on a few walking trails that were only a short drive away (Shohola Falls, Tusten Mountain Trail, and Mongaup River Trail). The only things I would change are a real mattress instead of an air mattress (deflated a bit after 2 nights) and there was a little leak through the top of the tent right where our pillows and heads were (granted it was raining hard the whole night). Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was beautiful and wonderful. For camping it does seem a little expensive but what a great idea. We loved the location and all of the small touches, like the firewood.

Overall, our stay was great. From the bald eagles soaring over the water to the very nice folks at the "eel wier" just down the way, the weekend was filled with fun experiences. The campsite is fantastic - feels very secluded despite being pretty close to the road. Thomas was very helpful and took great care of us throughout. A very pleasant way to spend the weekend.

The campsite was fantastic. We rolled up with 8 people and 2 dogs and had plenty of room and plenty of privacy. Very clean and a nice layout. The river access is excellent and the tent is great. Especially the wood stove! The campkeeper, Hall, stayed out of our hair and was very courteous and attentive when we had any questions and wanted to check out. It really felt like our own space. Would recommend biodegradable water balloons and a water balloon slingshot for passing river rafters (they were not bothersome at all, but who doesn't like a little target practice?)

We arrived late Sunday night and although it's still ' summer' the temperature dipped to the low 50's and we weren't prepared! At 5am we decided to sleep in the car, we were freezing, a bunch of city slickers! The next day we stopped in to see Thomas and he could not have been more accommodating! He felt so badly that we slept in the car but of course we assured him that it was not his fault but rather poor planning on our part:( That next day it was off to Walmart for extra blankets.. We ended staying for 4 nights and had an incredible time! Thomas (he actually prefers to be called 'Hall' which is his middle name) made sure we had more than enough fire wood and even had a fire going upon our arrival to the campsite after our day of kayaking! Talk about service! The campsite was clean and beyond beautiful and the wood stove heated up the tent quickly. We finally got the hang of it after Thomas's patient tutoring on the subject of small stove fires, how to start them and how to keep them going! The locals we met were funny, kind and real characters, check out the Silver Eel Weir just down the road from the site. All in all we did not want to leave and we are already planning our next trip to this slice of camping paradise
