“What a treat!! Being a coupla city slickers we were a bit unprepared-- make sure to bring bug spray, a cooking pan, lighter fluid, etc! Gorgeous and pretty easy to find!”
“This was a trip we made for our anniversary and we could not have had a better time at what was a gorgeous campsite. Everything was accurate as stated plus there was the added bonus of having a wood burning stove in the tent to help keep it nice and toasty on an otherwise chilly October night. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this site to anyone that wants to enjoy nature in this beautiful setting and get away for a bit. Additionally, we had the pleasure of meeting Hall, the campkeeper who was very welcoming, nice, and accommodating. We'll definitely be returning!”
“Thomas was great to deal with and drove us up river so we could canoe down to the site. He gave us some good info on about how long the paddle would be and let us know he was available if needed although was hands off and gave us privacy. The site is somewhat close to the road so there was some car noise but it's not a very busy road overall so not a huge deal. The site was clean and overall the location was really nice.”
“We had a wonderful time at River's Edge. The drive up along the Delaware just past Port Jervis is stunning. There are a few lookout points I would suggest stopping to take in the views. The camp site was clearly marked on the road and was just a short drive down which is convenient but also means that you get some noise from cars passing by. The camp is well shaded and provides some privacy from people passing by in rafts and canoes. If you plan on going in the water make sure to wear water shoes as it is very rocky. Overall, it was a great place to fish, swim and roast some marshmallows. We can't wait for our next Tentrr adventure!”
“Let me start off by saying this campsite is one of a kind. Not only are you secluded, well shaded, provided with everyone you need (aside from food and drinks) but the view of the river is outstanding to wake up to. It truly was the most relaxing vacation I have taken since I was a child. Warning: there is NO cellphone service so if your addicted to your iPhone, this might be good therapy for you. It was a bonus for us to not be reached by anyone so we didn't worry about that at all. You really do get to sit back, relax, eat, drink and have fun. If you happen to forget anything on your list there is very handy store about 5 minutes down the road in Barryville that has everything!! Just make a left out of the driveway and you will find it. I plan to make this trip a tradition with my friend’s that’s how great of a time it was. It lived up to our expectations and more! The site is well shaded so even when the temp is 90 you can't notice. Everything was perfect. I recommend this site to anyone!”
“What a beautiful place! Tall trees and the site is super clean. The Delaware a few steps away, ready for a cooling dip or float. The Keeper was sensational, on site to greet us. All equipment ready as promised and in great condition.
The end of the afternoon is probably the most beautiful time there. Under the trees, it gets dark sooner. SO start your fire early and enjoy the view of the lazily flowing Delaware, and sunlit coastline across the river. Pretty special. We had a great time barbecuing and just sitting by the fire.
The highlight were the two rafts. We didn't try it, but hiring the service to raft or kayak seems like a fun option.
Highly recommended!”
“Great location right on the Delaware with a picture postcard view. Convenient car access off a main country road. Perfect base for kayaking and Delaware river fun.”
“River's Edge was totally spectacular! The tent was a stones throw away from the Delaware River, there was enough firewood to start a forest fire and Hall could not have been more helpful on getting me there! I highly recommend this campsite!”
