Strongly recommend this place! The river view was wonderful and for sure, it's better than the photos provided. The tent was comfortably warm during the night. It was well equipped with a wood stove and even an electronic heater! Amenities were great too and Thomas, the camp keeper, was very helpful. We would definitely come again!

Hands down the best Tentrr site we’ve experienced. Thomas is a wonderful camp keeper and took extra steps - like helping us start the wood stove and shoveling the path to site. We will definitely be back. If you were hesitant about winter camping, don’t be! Our tent was so warm. We did a little hot yoga! Best Tentrr experience. Hands down.

There was nothing we would change about the experience. This can be done all 4 seasons of the year and we picked the coldest. For a couple of city slickers, all was as expected and then some. We will be booking again in the future. Absolutely loved it.

Hall is an incredible host, and he made sure my girlfriend and I had an above-and-beyond terrific experience at River's Edge Sunrise. The first thing we were impressed with was the advance communication: we took advantage of multiple rounds of email and texts with Hall to make sure everything we needed was accounted for. Ultimately, he provided so much (above and beyond in every sense of the word): in addition to the Tentrr standards, our site was equipped with a power strip, lamp inside the tent, string lights outside the tent, electric heater, queen mattress bunk beds (not just regular bed), propane grill(!), 5 gallon water jug, extra logs for the outdoor firepit, a long table(!), cutting board, knives, silverware, plates, mugs, candles, tongs, spatula, pans, campfire grill, dishwashing tub with sponge, soap, and drying rack. Hall was also in the process of fully winterizing the tent, adding a tin roof and had added a carpet layer inside the tent which really helped with warmth. We were there over NYE. Warmth-wise, the electric heater and wood burning stove combination was definitely enough. Hall informed us in advance, but we would definitely reiterate: get duraflame long-burning logs. One three-hour duraflame log in the stove was not quite enough to make it through a night. We would recommend budgeting two three-hour duraflame logs for each night, plus others to use if you're hanging around the tent during the day. We brought a small clothes-drying rack but lucked out on weather. The location is beautiful, right on the water. You can pull your car up to very close to the site, so packing/unpacking is very easy. Would recommend a 4wd vehicle, as there are some bumps getting to the site. This site coupled with the other two Tentrr sites Hall has, plus the 5+ bedroom farmhouse he's renovating, would make for an unparalleled large-event hosting opportunity. Hall is a hospitality fanatic -- will enthusiastically collaborate with guests to craft a really really awesome experience...also very much respecting privacy whenever you want it. Hall is constantly working on all aspects of the property. Hall and Katie created a NYE "party" of sorts for us, complete with full bar, hot cider, large projection of NYC NYE festivities, and large bonfire. So above and beyond. Additionally, they gave us full access to farmhouse, including wifi, full kitchen, full bathroom with shower, and boardgames. Cell service at campsite was not reliable, even on Verizon, but wifi in farmhouse was great. Hall gave great recs on hikes, restaurants, and ski opportunities. He watched our dog Harper for a full day while we went skiing at Big Bear. That is the stuff of an otherworldly type of host.

River's Edge Sunrise was a wonderful experience. You are right by the river. Very secluded yet has electric (so if you don’t want to maintain a fire all night, turn the heater on). Thomas checked in on us multiple times thru our stay and gave us a generous amount of firewood (we wanted to turn off the heater and go primal). We love the place and recommend it highly.

Excellent stay, right on the river and beautiful views. Stove kept us warm on chilly night. Great hosts, with table set and fire and stove lit upon arrival. You're just 50 yards or so from the main road, but still pretty quiet (we even had a bald eagle land right over us!) Highly recommended

Thomas was super communicative and helpful, and the campsite itself was stunning and very well maintained. We're hoping to make this an annual thing!
