Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“I spent a night here with my husband and we had a wonderful time. The river was easily accessible and the site itself was charming and lovely. Thomas was a great host - he kept in contact with us and made sure we had everything we needed - cookware, water, fire wood, an air mattress, floating tubes, etc. We wish we could’ve stayed the entire week! Would highly recommend.”
“After several stressful months of lockdown, our family of four + dog, were so relieved when we pulled up to this idyllic riverside spot. We spent a delightful afternoon by the river, the guys lolling in the tubes (the water was low), the dog running along the riverbank, his ears let back. We lounged, read, listened to music, and watching people pass by in canoes decided we'd canoe the next day if the weather held up. We lit the fire, barbecued, started a game of cards, and looked forward to the interesting stories the Tentrr loo and rain shower would surely provide! And then a fireworks show started upriver and our dog went nuts. He has been nervous around fireworks in the past, and this year they are especially unrelenting, but nothing like this. We thought he'd feel safe in the canvas tent as he could hide under the wood platform bed but he would not settle and long story short: he grabbed the corner of the canvas with his teeth and pulled until it ripped up the side. After much what-now dramas around the fire/to the soundtrack of more fireworks, we decided to bail. We were a sad lot returning home to the city at 1am. I contacted Thomas the next morning and offered to cover the expense of repairs as we all felt so bad and he was so generous and kind in his understanding that I cried into my morning tea. HE felt bad we didn't have a lovely weekend and said he'd take care of repairs. We will definitely rent this site again -- it really is a great spot by the river, close to canoeing rental, but still private with all the trees and close to all the hiking and activities we will enjoy next time-- but maybe will leave the dog home/in a padded cell!”
“Amazing site! Planned a last minute birthday getaway and Thomas went out of his way to make the campsite even more special. Would highly recommend!!! Will deff be back. *Bring water shoes!!”
“Motorcycle adverturers! This avoided all the bulk. This is right on the river and a very nice breeze through the camp. Firewood provided made a big difference. Owner was so nice. Brought coffee and bagel in the am which is great before getting on the road again. Water shoes a must. Loved owner put a T at the end of drive to find it. Thanks TOM!”
“Two days at this property was not enough. We sat in tethered tubes and let the hours roll by as we watched an eagle circle from their nest just across the river. We’ve had a few amazing Tentrr experiences and this was by far the best location. The combination of hospitality, exquisite placement, privacy, and Tentrr quality made for a wonderful stay. We appreciate the extra consideration to attentiveness yet safe distancing during this time. We felt safe and taken care of, and with the whole site (and mostly) river to ourselves, we could relax and enjoy this special place. Thank you Thomas!”
“Campsite needs a lot of updating and cleaning. Access to the river is not a clean path can be cleaned up and made nicer. Tiki torches went out first night had no more fluid in them. Thomas was great just a text away...when we had cell phone reception. Would try another tentrr in the future!”
“Camp site and Camp keeper were great. Thomas made sure the site was set up and the wood stove was warming the tent when we arrived. Any questions we had he was quick to respond. Even with the temps in the mid 20's the tent was very warm. Only recommendation is a full cover for the air mattress on top bunk. The rubber against the wood made a ton of noise whenever anyone moved. Still 5 stars and a great night.”
“River's Edge is a beautiful site right next to the Delaware River. My boyfriend and I stayed over a weekend that dipped down to 27 degrees at night but the in-tent wood stove kept things nice and toasty. We would love to come back when it's warmer and enjoy the water!”
