“I absolutely love Tentrr and previous locations I have stayed in. I absolutely LOVE the Turner Farm location and the dinner that we attended while staying at the farm. The staff at Turner Farm was incredible and I want to say this is not why I have a negative review!
I am leaving this review for one reason. Bugs. I’ve stayed on Tentrrs before but they had lining inside of the tent where it was harder for bugs to get in. I understand we are on a farm, but this was unreal. We did not sleep in the tent, we had to sleep in the 4 Runner. The spiders were all over and I scooped up several spider webs in corners of the tent.
Ok fine, not bad, but the worst part was the picnic table bugs. After dinner, we got back to the site and I legit thought the table was moving because hundreds of little black bugs were on the table. Again, I’m totally understanding of it being outside I just felt like this was necessary to write!
I do loooove the farm property and suggest anyone to visit.”
“Spent a night here after a Barn Supper at the farm. Such a perfect spot! There was firewood in the fire pit available for use and fresh linens on the bed. Definitely will be going back.”
“The tent only had one bed, not the bunk shown in the picture. There was no water in an enamel cast water holder like shown in the picture. In fact, there was no water period. The was no toilet paper either. We rode our bikes from the ferry and there were signs for Turner Farm but not for the campsite.”
Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. They are aware of them and moving forward with future bookings, will be more mindful of the items you mentioned.

“Beautiful location and loved visiting the farm stand for local and fresh coffee, baked goods and of course blueberries and vegetables. We enjoyed our stay and waking up to the beautiful view each morning.
The tentr was not as described per listing with inaccurate photos. There was a tentrr with a bed for 2 and one regular tent set up next to it. Luckily we were only a group of 2. Additionally, no shower which I do not mind but would like to be called out in the description.
Overall we had a great stay! A little more communication through the Airbnb app or directions, maybe even a map of the island would be super helpful for other guests!”
“Spent 2 nights at Turner Farm, weather not great, rain and fog but nobody’s fault! Tent was dry, that’s what mattered! View from campsite is spectacular and to be alone with such a view, the best! Plenty of water in jugs provided, lots of firewood, though thankfully we heeded another reviewer’s comments as needed an axe to get to burning size! Outhouse super clean. Warm blankets definitely appreciated! Local hikes through North Haven conservancy are terrific and ditto the oysters, some of best I’ve had and amazingly huge! Great place to spend a few days!”
“Awesome time. Very private and the island has great beaches to explore. Ferry ride over is an adventure on its own. Just plan well for food and tenting needs for your comfort level. Bed is very stiff. There is no gravity shower as stated. But it’s tenting. Wildlife is awesome and cool to watch.”
“Camping on the Turner Farm was very pleasant, private and peaceful! Enjoyed my meals under the old apple tree overlooking the cove using the simple narrow table and bench hewn from a tree.
Bike riding on North Haven Island was great!”
