“The views from the camp site are beautiful. The camp site is tucked away from the farm, but a short walk to the farm store for a morning coffee and breakfast sandwich. Couldn't have asked for better weather for a long weekend!”
“Turner Farm is an amazing place. Loved the beach there, the morning farm stand with breakfast sandwiches and coffee and produce etc. Our site had a beautiful view and the compost toilet was a really nice one ( not a bucket like described in the listing, but a permanent built outhouse with a light and no odor). Some of the Tentrr gear was a little tired. The solar shower bag was leaky. the tent in the pictures has a wood stove inside, we arrived after a very wet travel day and were looking forward to that but it wasn't there. The slats on the bed are very far apart, making it a little less comfortable than it could have been. The top bunk has an air mattress and bottom had a futon like mattress. Could have used a hatchet or something for splitting up the wood. Which was provided. The local grocery doesn't have wood so that was nice that it was waiting for us there.
Overall we had a great time.”
“Cool site overall. Things to note: There is a loo. Shower is a solar set up if needed. Water is in a container for dish cleaning etc. Bring plenty of water. There is a grocery store with some amenities. The Farm store is awesome! They have fresh coffee and breakfast items when needed. There was a tick infestation when we were there so plan accordingly. Also check the Tentrr web review for additional insight to prep safely and soundly for your stay. The farm is great and everyone is so positive! Looking forward to the next time!!”
“Very charming, very rustic. The island itself is quite picturesque. The main grocery store has many of the food provisions one could need for their stay. Waking up to the glorious view was amazing. The host was also very accommodating.”
