Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“What an absolutely fantastic experience. I was shocked when Vicky and Ray told me that they've never worked in hospitality because they definitely deserve every star on their reviews. I'll get into the campsite shortly, but Vicky and Ray's sheer joy for making sure we all had a wonderful time really helped bring out the magic of their site. If we weren't social distancing, we would have loved to sit with them and learn their story more. Their passion for what they do is really special.
In terms of the camp site-- we were a group of 9, so mixed between tents that Vicky and Ray provided, as well as our own spots. The queen-sized bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable, and the tent felt clean and homey. Everything was spotless and well-arranged when we arrived. There were extra snacks and goodies, plus fresh herbs and even tomato from Vicky's garden.
Just like other reviewers mentioned, the breakfast (big bodacious, in our case) was a must-have. Since it was my birthday weekend, Vicky asked what ingredients I like and made us a fantastic spread based off of that. A note to Vicky and Ray-- if you ever decide to offer a dinner option too, we'd totally want that :-)
In terms of location, we felt that being in Argyle had us close enough to Glen Falls / Lake George area to enjoy it, but not feel like we were staying somewhere touristy. We went white water rafting at a place about 40 minutes away, which was a ton of fun.
Ultimately, it's highly likely that we'd return. Even if we don't, we'll definitely suggest the Magic Glamp to others”
“This was an absolutely fantastic place and experience. Vicky and Ray are excellent Campkeepers and extremely kind and gracious. The site and the surrounding area was absolutely beautiful. All the amenities listed by the previous reviewers were indeed provided and very much appeciated. We will 100% be back!”
“We were skeptical of the "glamping" moniker before this, but tried it because it seemed like a good example and didn't have the ability to find a regular campsite of our own. I'm soooo glad we went to The Magic Glamp. It's like camping but if someone did the annoying work for you, letting you just relax. This is the exact place to stay if you're looking for a camping experience, but don't know exactly what to bring or what to do when you get there, and an even better experience if you just want to get out of the city. The tent site is tucked into the woods just off a big open meadow, and I can't imagine any other little touches to make it more perfect. Ray and Vicki really thought of everything, including every little thing you could need out in the woods, up to an amazing breakfast basket hand made by Vicki in the morning. And our pup Louis was free to roam around the site and sniff around, on top of playing fetch in the meadow. The Tentrr thing has a little toilet/loo to use, and they even made this a homey touch to provide better privacy. There's an extra large tent for bigger families as well, and multiple tables to eat at. The pictures on here don't do justice to the extra work they've put in, and they were so kind and welcoming to their property. I hiiiighly recommend this spot, and plan to return in the future hopefully! Thanks again Ray and Vicki!”
“A fairytale sweet spot! In just the right nook in the woods to be easily accessible and completely private at the same time. Ray, Vicki & Oli were amazing hosts! The Brekkie basket was WELL worth the splurge and Vicky really aims to please, you can tell she puts her love into each bite. The camp is really set up with almost everything you need to stay and not leave if you wanted. We wanted to explore a bit and ate at two places in the nearby town. Thai which had excellent PPE/COVID-19 protocol going on, and sadly only mediocre food. Seafood by the Bay was however completely FEROCIOUSLY DELICIOUS and was also following the proper protocols!!! We would've eaten there both nights if we had known how AWESOME it was. We left menus on the camp table. The little extras from the lights both inside and outside the tent were really thoughtful and well placed. My guy and I really enjoyed almost every minute of our trip even with the deluse that happened early on evening two. We used the little stove to keep us dry and the mini fan to keep things cool. When booking the trip we said "only two days... it's all I can handle if it sucks". As we were waking on morning two we said "only two days, this sucks!! " We weren't ready to come home, we felt like we were there already. Thank you Magic Glamp/Noble Homesteaders for a wonderful experience we won't soon forget!!”
“This was such a lovely place! They provided so many extra special touches--they truly thought of everything. And where the site is located on the property provided a lot of privacy. It felt like we were in our own little world. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer! We will definitely be back!”
“Absolutely magical! Vicky and Ray are the ultimate Campkeepers- they take such pride in making sure your stay is perfect. They are respectful of your privacy but also great at staying in touch to make sure things are going well.
This spot is perfect for a larger group - we were only 2, but it would be wonderful for a larger group as the campsite is so nicely arranged and easy to use.
So many helpful things included - dish towels, dish soap, tongs, aluminum foil, cutting board, silverware, paper plates, mugs, coffee pot- really great for first time campers who aren't sure what to bring.
Be sure to get the breakfast package - Vicky is an amazing cook and delights in including lots of fun extras and homemade goodies.
We can't wait to go back.”
“Stayed Fathers Day weekend for two nights. Ray and Vicki met us in their driveway. So friendly and genuinely excited to show us to the Glamp site. The site had lots of charm and extras. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the bedding was perfect and the towels we plush. The loo was better than any Tentrr site we’ve tried. We took advantage of the brekkie basket and it was delivered at the time we requested. The hosts were so accommodating and ready to provide anything we needed. The site is tucked way back on their property and very private. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars was the lack of view and the rough drive across the field to get to the site from the owners home. But to be fair, it is camping.”
