“This is a lovely farm with horses and sheep roaming about and tons of trails for walking and wandering. There was rain and wind during my stay and the tent held up wonderfully and was perfectly dry.”
“This location is amazing. It was exactly what we were looking for to be able to take a weekend away from COVID safely. The site achieves a high level of privacy by taking advantage of the landscape. The tent is down hill from the main farm area, amid a meadow of wildflowers. When there, you feel like no one is around for miles, even though it's just a short walk to the farm house and pond! The owners were also very accommodating of our needs. The farm has a variety of animals as well, we loved sitting at the picnic table near their barn and just watching the chickens and sheep forage in the lawn. The only negative of our trip was the very cold autumn evenings, however I can't fault anyone but God for that. The in tent stove did help a great deal though!”
“Really enjoyed how much space, privacy, and quiet we had. We thought it was a very good value for the dollars and I would encourage friends to stay here.
Bring plenty of clothesline, and an extra large water carrier. We moved our wood-shavings toilet to the popup tent so it became an outhouse & dry storage space; I highly recommend this strategy.”
“We had a beautiful, albeit chilly time given the time of year (late Oct), but we don’t regret it!
We did have to clean out the chimney for the wooden stove, but it was an easy enough fix. The site was quiet, and pulling up to the tent site was exactly as pictured. We had a great time exploring the area, and loved it!”
“Beautiful, secluded location for a Fall stay. Only downside was the stove flue seemed broken, so the options were to be cold or fill the tent with smoke. Understand these kinds of things can happen toward the end of the season.”
