The stay here is lovely! Kind people and a beautiful farm. The lake and kayaks were an amazing addition. S’mores over the fire and apples off the tree. It doesn’t get better than this.

We had a fabulous time at Featherfoot Farm. It was our first Tentrr experience and it was like staying in a private cabin (even cleaner)! The communication with the host was great, Dan responded to all our questions in a timely manner. Only a 1 hr drive to Acadia National Park is another plus! As you know, make sure to bring plenty of blankets and layers for the cool night temps. A great experience overall!

Featherfoot Farm is an absolute dream. The farm itself is insanely beautiful (when we drove in on our first day, it was truly out of a Disney movie: a beautiful, lush garden, stables, happy dogs, a horse grazing in the front yard..) and the CampKeepers, Dan and Emily, are so kind and accommodating. Dan and Emily immediately made us feel comfortable, and they even gave us access to their incredible pond which was great for cooling off after a long day of hiking in nearby Acadia. Our Tentrr site was very private and clean, and had every amenity. Do yourself a favor and stay at Featherfoot Farm!!

The spot is super private! We did hear blueberry harvesters most days, but that's to be expected in August. Dan and his wife were very welcoming and their farm is peaceful and serene. Bring a long laundry line as the site has very few trees nearby. Also, if your short, a 2“ S Hook for the sun shower setup will make your life a lot simpler. Giles Pond was fantastic to paddle around and the dock that Dan and Emily have is fantastic and deep! We had a great time!

We had the best time camping on Featherfoot Farm! First off, the farm is absolutely gorgeous - when we drove up for the first time it was like a Disney movie: a gorgeous Sunset over a distant pod, happy dogs running around, a lush garden, a horse grazing peacefully in the front yard... magic! However, what made our trip spectacular were the amazing CampKeepers, Emily and Dan. Emily and Dan are incredibly friendly, answered every question we had quickly, and let us roam the farm and swim in their gorgeous pond. Our actual camping site had every amenity, extra water, and was very private. Would recommend Featherfoot Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting (and bonus that it's close to Acadia!). Thank you, Dan and Emily!!

My teenage daughters and I spent two nights in August at Featherfoot Farm. It was absolutely beautiful. The tent was cozy and the beds very comfortable. It is a short walk by the horses, garden, and barn to the pond where we swam and kayaked several times over our stay. On the pond we saw loons, ducks, lots of dragonflies, and water lilies. On our evening walks we saw deer in the fields and the sunsets are beautiful over the farmhouse and pond. We drove to Ellsworth, Acadia, and Bar Harbor during our stay. It was a perfect way to explore Maine. Dan and Emily were very kind and available for any needs. The tent site is very private, which we loved. I highly recommend a visit to Featherfoot Farm.

Our trip to Featherfoot farm was absolutely perfect. The site is totally private tucked back in a meadow where fireflies lit up the field once night came. Emily and Dan were so accommodating and friendly, making sure we were set up and comfortable. We spent an afternoon using one of their canoes and paddling around the calm, quiet pond getting a close up view of the some loons. Another day we took the short 1 hour drive into Acadia and spent the day enjoying one of my favorite places on earth. The farm is stunning with horses, sheep, and fresh produce all around. We walked down the path a bit and came across huge blueberry fields so of course we had to spent an hour picking some fresh Maine blueberries! Highly recommend this site if you’re looking for a private Maine getaway with amazing hosts!
