“Everything was excellent except we didn’t know to manage the heat with the wood stove and it got really smoky and cold. We needed a little lesson on how to use the wood stove properly. Thomas was the best camp keeper. I highly recommend this camp site.”
“Oh man, it was perfect. Right on the river, the wood fire stove kept us warm in 28º weather. The Hawk's Nest drive to get there was incredible. If you go, I have a great playlist for that drive. Looking forward to going back. After I left, I remembered that I forgot to wash 3 dishes before I left. Now I know how Raskolnikov felt.

“Amazing site, amazing owner, and well maintained campsite with so many fine touches. I came well prepared, but was still surprised at all the features of the site including fresh hot and cold drinking water as well as wash water for cleaning up. You're right by the river and if you canoe or tube, its super convenient to do it through Thomas (the site owner). He'll take you up river and you just row back to your site. We saw eagles and felt very private without feeling completely off the grid. This is the nicest campsite I have ever stayed at and my wife and kids (3 and 5) had a blast. Thanks Thomas!”
“This was the most amazing camping experience of my life and the place had, by far, the best accommodations one could ask for in a campsite. My wife and two kids (3 and 5) had a blast. The campsite is right along the river, it's well stocked with items you may have forgotten to bring, and the site owner (Thomas) was wonderfully helpful. We did a 2 hour canoe trip with Thomas which was super convenient; he drove us up river and we just rowed back to our campsite and pulled the canoe out. You get a covered patio area with table and the night lighting and torches are a nice touch. You get drinking water and wash water so cooking and cleanup is a breeze. Keep up the good work Thomas.....we will be back!”
“First time campers. Did not know what to expect. However, we had a great time at the site. The views are beautiful. The river was gentle and shallow, we saw many fish in the river. Saw eagles as well. The camp grounds were nicely laid out and well maintained. Everything was clean and worked as expected. Tom was very considerate and attentive, could not have asked for a better groundskeeper. He has put in a lot of effort into the camp grounds and it shows. We will be back, we want to bring our families here next time around!”
