“My husband and I had a wonderful time here with our two-year-old. He especially loved the rowboat and swimming in the pond. I only took off a half a star because the site is so close to the street and the noise of the cars is rather loud. The rest of the experience was just wonderful.”
“A very beautiful location and the camp keepers were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed swimming and boating in the pond with our kids and enjoying some peace and quiet outside of cell phone range.”
“I didn’t like the air mattress. I liked the privacy and peacefulness. I liked the row boats and the tent, the Adirondack chairs and fire pits. I liked hearing the bull frogs sing.”
“Absolutely beautiful campsite with a private little pond. We had an amazing time and would definitely return here. It was a hot day so we went swimming in the Delaware River, which is nearby. If you're planning on doing that, it's probably a good idea to bring water shoes. We bought food from a nearby grocery store (Peck's) for grilling on the fireplace, they had a pretty decent selection. There's also a few restaurants not too far away from the campsite. There are a lot of frogs in the pond, so perhaps bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. It's also a good idea to make sure you don't leave any food or food packaging out, since there are bears in the area. We met the property owner, he was very friendly and told us a little about the area.”
“Campsite was beautiful with the quarry. Camp keeper was very hospitable and even brought games for my kids to play as we came on a rainy day. Camp site was quite close to the road so you could hear quite a bit of cars up and down. We still really enjoyed ourselves tho.”
“Max the campkeeper was very responsive. Everything was ready when we arrived. The place itself is beautiful and secluded. It was only too bad that the it was a cloudy night and we couldn't see stars too well.”
