“We stayed for one night and had an incredible experience. Tent is located up the hill, it is very private (I mean VERY, it was just us) with a gorgeous view over the mountains.
Host was really nice and friendly, she met us down the hill and showed the way up.
I was not very attentive to description, so maybe that will help for other travelers: make sure to bring your bed linen, pillows and sleeping bags.
Despite that, it was very well equipped: chairs, flash light, small gas stove.

“My wife and I stayed at this location for two nights with our dog for a quick getaway. It was more than we could have asked for. The place is very private and secluded, beautiful surroundings and a scenery that puts you in the midst of a painting. Everything we needed was there and we felt very comfortable asking our host in case we needed something else. We even canoed on the lake one morning where we saw plenty of fish, a beaver, and a plethora of birds. Even though it rained our first night it only added to the beauty and coziness of the tent. It was sunny and hot the second day so we took a dip in the nearby creek to refresh ourselves.
Definitely a place to relax and unwind while enjoying some of the best scenery in New York!
Also, There is no electricity, so don’t forget a battery pack to charge your cell as this helps communicate with the host.”
“There is a reason Mary and Dan have a 5 star rating. Mary is extremely friendly and happy to be sharing her family’s property with you! She was wonderful explaining about her land and all the things we could do while we were there. I feel like my husband and I will definitely go back again. This site was so private and the views are spectacular, especially at dusk when the moon came out. It was a Mitch needed getaway and Mary welcomed us like a friend of their family!”
