“I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. The views were absolutely breathtaking taking and talk about peace and quiet. The tent was plenty big enough for my family of four and the kids loved seeing the mini horses. Mary was extremely communicative and welcoming and we will definitely be back. My partner and I enjoyed a secluded getaway, immersing fully in nature, waking up to a beautiful view. It is a fantastic way to take a break and unplug from the busy city life. This campsite also has a pond, creek and hiking trails to hike through. Due to constant changes in weather, we were bummed not to explore around their 300-acre property, but we are already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of this spectacular property. A huge thank you to Mary and Dan for being such incredible hosts and giving us such a wonderful experience during our visit. This is one of the most memorable stays and nights of our life.”

“Before I get started I just want to clarify because the pictures are misleading and as of the time of this writing the description is also incomplete: THE SLEEPING SPACE IS A BUNK BED! NOT A SINGLE QUEEN BED. The only reason I mention this is because being 6'4 it was a little more difficult to maneuver in and out of the bed, and to sit up once in it, since it was bunked instead of, as the picture indicates, one regular level bed.
With that out of the way, I cannot recommend this stay enough. The view is incredible, full stop. The amenities are all as advertised by the official Tentrr site if you're familiar with that. Mary, the camp keeper, was friendly, informative and offered us many extra features of their 300 acre farm to enjoy. If the weather had been better we would have absolutely taken advantage of her generous hospitality.
Even though we spent most of our stay under a severe thunderstorm and then tornado watch, we were never wet or cold due to the ample space in the tent and the plenty of wood supplied for the woodstove which we were able to cook both breakfast and dinner over. The momentary breaks front he storm clouds provided breathtaking views down a gorgeous fall painted valley. At the top of a hill far away from the road it's the perfect combination of private and cozy, with the knowledge that if anything were needed, Mary could be there to help you within a few minutes.
In all this was an amazing, easy going weekend getaway for my wife, our dog and myself after an extremely busy summer. If you had children and were looking for an unparalleled Central NY weekend getaway to enjoy nature I would absolutely recommend this 6/5 times! If you're a couple, or very tall be aware of the bunk beds, but otherwise 5/5 you need to experience this!”
