We had a great weekend at the Christmas Tree Farm. The set up was just as we expected and the site and its view were beautiful. We had plenty of firewood and appreciated the tent stove on our chilly nights. During the day we explored the property, canoed on the pond and took a short drive to hike at nearby Tinker Falls. It was a perfect family getaway.

Oh man, where to start? Probably with Mary and Dan, who were the epitome of gracious and generous. We arrived on the later side (close to 8) on Friday, and not only did they not have a problem with it — they'd already started a campfire for us and set the table! Mary has had a career in hospitality, and it really shows, as the site comes outfitted with a full outdoor kitchen, plenty of wood, and kind little touches like a lavender scent sack. Oh, and they've had the Christmas tree farm in the family for more than 50 years! Then there's the campsite itself, which is second to none. Remote, idyllic, with one of the best views in the state. Lots of surrounding woods to explore, a beautiful creek down the valley, and not another soul in sight. Tons to do in the surrounding area as well; Cortland is less than thirty minutes down the road, and so is Cazenovia. Both are charming towns. We can't recommend this place highly enough — and we'll surely be back.

An absolutely amazing place! Pretty much heaven in a Christmas Tree Farm. The host was super nice and was a life saver when I forgot coffee! Considering the closest store is a good 20 minutes away ( gas station) don't forget anything because Walmart is at least a Half hour:) However we loved how secluded and quiet it was. She went above and beyond to decorate and make it a super cute experience! We were only able to stay 2 nights but definitely worth a couple more days next time!

This is our kids first camping trip and it went very well. Starting from the trip up to the campsite was fun and exciting, you will need 4wd to get up there. We were busy spending time with each other and that is memorable, stories after stories around camp fire. After the trip, we would like to do more camping. Mary is a wonderful host, she alway offers help if you need. We felt like we had the entire private camping site to ourselves.

Picture perfect scenery! This site is completely secluded and private, a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The site comes with everything you need (bedding, grill, firewood, etc..) and Mary & Dan were incredibly helpful in making sure we had the perfect stay.

Let me start by saying WOW! What a beautiful location! Mary and her husband were super friendly. The campsite was breathtaking. Definitely going back this year. *note: campsite is 4x4 or motorcycle accessible especially in rain. The drive up the hill is about a mile up a hill through woods and in the middle of a Christmas tree farm. If you don’t have a 4x4, owner was willing to drive you up in his truck. Definitely one of the best camping experiences I’ve had in 43 years.

This site was amazing! Friendly campkeepers carried all our stuff to the site in their 4WD. From the site we had a commanding view of the whole valley. At night there were so many stars. The canvas tent and bunk beds were great fun for our kids and great sleeping for us. The table, counter, and grill made cooking tons of fun. We are definitely coming back as the fall colors come out.
