“My boyfriend and I stayed at this campsite for the weekend and we loved our experience. The area was beautiful, and we had the best time watching the ducks, sitting by the fire, and fishing. The weekend was rainy, but we enjoyed reading and relaxation. 10/10 would also recommend the fresh eggs. John and Hollie were kind and easy to contact.”
“We had an amazing time at Sleigh Hill Farm. The site was secluded and sat on a private pond. The tent was clean & it was nice to arrive & find the wood & farm fresh eggs delivered. We loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs by the fire sipping wine from Caret Cellars. The owner of the vineyard was such a sweet man & we appreciated the complimentary wine tasting & good conversations with him.
The floating dock was very fun & elevated the fishing experience & made for a romantic evening sipping wine & watching the sun set. We definitely will be coming back.”
“Sleigh Hill Farm was an absolute dream to camp at. My boyfriend and I arrived later Friday night due to work so we arrived in the complete darkness. Not only was the site easy to find and accessible, but our farm fresh eggs were also at the foot of our bed along with a bin of other necessities and a map of the grounds. The bed was extremely comfortable with little to no bugs inside our tent. We loved sitting by the fire on the Adirondack chairs and just enjoying each other's company. Saturday we took a walk along the grounds, drove into Tappahannock for some coffee (since it is so close), and watched the Geese across the pond from our site. Overall, awesome experience (& that is coming from someone who never really camps!)”
“Had a great little getaway and loved the short walk to the vineyard! Caret Cellars had great wine options. It’s distant enough for privacy yet close enough to the cellars and a town to grab anything you may need. We went to Relish Restaurant & Wine Bar as well-awesome farm to table food & beverages (would recommend making reservations for a table but we were able to get a spot at the bar).”
“A great way to camp! It rained while we were there and it was dry and cozy! The campsite included an area for fires as well as a grate for cooking and a stick as well if needed! The property was beautiful and there are trails to see it all.”
