“We had a wonderful time. This was a first time camping experience for my kids. The area is extremely secluded but easy to access, and the campkeeper took care of everything beautifully. Note that this location has a well-maintained porta-potty instead of a Tentrr loo, which was a big plus for us with small kids!”
“first of all. mike was awesome to work with. he obviously enjoys having others enjoy his camp site. he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. speaking of which...the site is outfitted with an extra tent (large 3 person), kitchen ware (dish tub, utensils, plates, coffee mugs, dish water bucket and some pots and pans), kindling/paper for starting a fire, trash cans (with bags) and plenty of water (for both drinking and washing). site is good for tents as there at minimum 4 spots to set up on flat ground. one of the best features of this site is the privacy. it's just whoever you are with up there!
we all hiked for our outdoor exercise. the closest great spot for that is the weiser state forest haldeman tract right outside of elizabethville. the vista up there is easily top 5 in the state of PA (pic attached). also excellent for mountain biking or horse riding.

“My fiancee and I had a wonderful time camping! The weather didn't cooperate with us too well, but the campsite more than made up for it. The site is tucked away in a wooded area with some of the best views of the tree-lined hills (that had changed to some really beautiful fall colors). Everything you could ever need was there (kindling, flashlights, a great fire pit, etc.) Not too far away, we found a great restaurant to watch some football. I highly recommend camping here!”

“What an outstanding site! Mike’s Tentrr site is in a clearing at the top of a small mountain road, surrounded by woods and cornfields. Incredibly private, quiet and lovely. Site was immaculate and provisioned with more than you’d need. We brought our own tent (because we’re Covid-cautious) but used the fire pit, shower and picnic table. Mike was also super helpful in giving us turn-by-turn directions to the site, and info as to where everything was located. If you’re visiting Lewisburg/Bucknell, it’s about a 40 minute drive south. Beats the pants off a Hampton in. Plus we were treated to a huge chattering of starlings in the morning—hundreds and hundreds of them—erupting out of the corn and darkening the sky, then gathering in the field to repeat the cycle. Kind magical. Would like to plan a return visit in cooler weather this fall. Book it—you will. It be disappointed!”
“Awesome experience. The day we were supposed to arrive there was a bad storm and Mike called and offered for us to come the next day if we wanted to - I didn't even have to ask. When we got there he led us up to the site and showed us where everything was. Site had everything you could want: porta potty, pots to cook with, water to drink and bathe, fire pit, and even a small area to "shower." Paid extra for the firewood and it was well worth it. Gorgeous views and complete privacy. Overall fantastic experience and we'll be back.”
