Alas, I'm writing this review quite late, but the memories of the stay are undiminished: was 100% spectacular, would 100% return. Thank you, stewards of the pines!

Whispering Lines was wonderful! Very private, had everything we needed. The camp grill is for over the fire pit, so recommend bringing a hibachi to grill and cook if that’s your plan. The area itself is rural, with closet spot for coffee and food (that was open) being about 10 miles away, although we did accidentally crash a private party at the Lodge up the road. People were very friendly and welcoming :) The lake is gorgeous, especially at the end of Sept when foliage is turning. We would love to go back!

This is such a beautiful site! The moment we arrived we were thrilled by the set up of the camp. The view on the lake is breath taking and so serene. We thoroughly enjoyed our family time so close to nature. The camp keeper Denise was great, very welcoming and helpful. We plan on returning!

Meticulously planned campsite, no details were spared. The entire property is perfection, and you can tell the owners put in many hours to plan out and set up an ideal camp setting. Just follow the roped trail down to your campsite, overlooking the tranquil lake spotted with lily pads and the sounds of birds, bull frogs and NO MOTOR BOATS. We loved the tent with the two queen size air mattress bunks, we all slept great including my 4 year old. The tent had two side tables and plenty of provided lanterns and room for our large dog bed. The dining area is off to the side, and there are bins with everything you need to cook out on the camp grill over the fire. The solar shower area is private and worked just fine for a clean up. It was nice to have a camp toilet as well, we have never camped with one! Denise has a very welcoming barn set up a short walk away with a full size fridge and freezer, which was awesome to have. A short scenic walk with our backpack cooler brings you to a private beach where we spent hours floating and swimming, eating lunch and drinking beers in the sun! Harrisburg lake lodge is a 5 minute walk up the road, we stopped for a drink to check the place out and ordered breakfast for our final morning that we picked up and ate while packing up. It was an amazing breakfast, highly recommend...french toast, bacon, eggs, fried potatoes, fresh juice and croissants and fruit salad. My daughter did not want to leave, my only regret is staying only two days. We will definitely be back!

The view was breathtaking. And Denise was too nice to spare a minute of her time to come say hi to us the moment we arrived. It was what we expected. Serene campsite, clean and cozy.

We are avid campers and this was by far one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever stayed. The views of the lake are breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the colorful sunsets each night by the fire. From canoeing to floating to exploring the forest trails, we loved every part of our stay, especially the privacy and serenity and the many amenities provided by our campkeeper, Denise. We will surely be returning to Whispering Pines!
