Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Really wonderful experience. Everything you need for a cozy "glamping" trip. We brought our own groceries for cooking, some booze, and it was all we needed for a great night in!”
“This was a fantastic find! We loved everything about Locust Grove and the site seemed to anticipate our every need. Inside the tent, there are great modern amenities like wireless chargers, nice lights, and a heater. Outside the tent, there was a beautiful waterfall, grill/firepit, and even our own personal golf cart to get around. The spot was well lit at night and felt very private. Kaaterskills Falls was only 35min away and there was a good selection of restaurants nearby. I am looking forward to coming again!”
“Me and my husband had an amazing time. The water and scenery was beautiful. We woke up to the calming sounds of a waterfall that is right out of the tent. We saw many wildlife near the water.”
“Great spot! Went during the fall season and the weather was perfect. The space is everything they say it is - and to our surprise, the toilet was actually in a covered area so using the bathroom in the rain was no problem! The waterfall is the most peaceful sound to fall asleep and wake up to. Definitely come prepared to entertain yourselves as there isn’t much around other than plenty of hiking trails - me and my partner brought a whole bunch of card/board games and that was fun to keep us occupied. There is a short path that you have to walk down to carry your belongings to the tent, so keep that in mind when packing (I’d suggest you keep it light). Lastly, the property had PLENTY of firewood to keep the fire burning! Hope you enjoy it just as much as we did!”
“My boyfriend and I had an awesome getaway at this Tentrr location in Durham, NY!
As “green” campers it was a very easy trip and the host was very communicative and reliable. The tent was spacious and very clean with lights and some power to charge phones and plug in our coffee pot!
We arrived at night and were a bit surprised to see that we could see the main road from our tent. We thought we would be a bit more into the woods.
Loved how the tent was right along the river and small waterfall. The string lights, camp fire, and kitchen top were excellent additions that made our stay cozy and easy. Plus, the heater in the tent came in handy for the chilly October nights.
The Tentrr-loo did it’s job but unfortunately our showers were freezing cold as we didn’t have sunny weather to get heat the shower bag.
Overall, amazing getaway for a few days!”
“What a wonderful, magical and delightful stay. The camp site is clean and perfectly laid out and the waterfall just puts everything over the top. From them moment I arrived to the moment I left I found this to be one of the nicest tentrr stays I have ever had.”
“This place is stunning - the pictures don’t really communicate how private/ unique and serene this spot truly is. With your own swimming hole, little paths to wander around, and waking up to the river right outside it’s pretty epic. Haven’t stayed in a place like this since Big Sur. The hosts were super kind, responsive, and clear.”
