“Justin was fabulous! He went above and beyond to much us comfortable, was completely on top of everything, and he was very thoughtful and considerate. The area is lovely and serene. The river was gorgeous! I just wish it had been warm enough for our pups and us to swim in. Still made for lovely fall walks through the forest. It was simply magical!”
“We needed a few days to 'drop out' of city life and this was exactly right for us. We made campfires and walked along the creek and greeted the deer that walked through the camp throughout our stay. It was exactly what we needed. Thanks, Justin!”
“Me, my husband and our three year old stayed here in early October for a much needed weekend away and we had a great time! Justin was so friendly and accommodating. The site was completely private from the main house on the property. The creek was so peaceful and the lower level table and fire pit along the water were perfect for hanging out. We spent most of our time down there so our daughter and pup could run around. The bed was comfortable and there was a small heater inside. The tent is situated in a hill with steep stairs leading up, so if bringing small children be mindful of that, but our daughter had no issue getting up and down with our assistance. Really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!”
“My new wife Annie and I had to change our wedding plans like so many other people this year. We paired our ceremony down to masked immediate family members only, postponed the reception until our 1 year anniversary, and cancelled our original honeymoon plans. But we still wanted to have a special trip away after our wedding, only it had to be safe from crowds. We both love camping, so I searched for the best possible campsite I could find. Justin and Katie’s property at Jacobs Creek was exactly what we wanted.
The property itself is beautiful with a long stretch of private access to the creek. The tent was spacious, clean and comfortable. You feel secluded even though the road isn’t too far away. All of the amenities were great, but it was really our hosts who made this whole experience. Once Justin found out we were spending our honeymoon at his campsite, he went above and beyond to make sure we had as pleasant a stay as he could provide. I never worried about anything during the lead up to our stay. We were welcomed by scampering pixie children shouting “congratulations” as well as they could pronounce it while their happy family gave us well wishes. It was more like visiting an old friend than a transaction for a campsite. We knew we were taken care of the whole time. We loved our stay, and we are definitely coming back.
Here’s a photo of Annie’s bouquet in the tent.”
“This was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. It was so close, but felt worlds away. Justin was the perfect host and very accommodating with our last minute reservation. The homemade farmhouse cider and honey were an awesome touch, but nothing compares to being on the creek. It reminded us of staying at Tree House Point. It didn't even matter that it rained.”
“The camp site is excellent, and it was great to sit in the creek :) Justin is excellent, and very helpful, and responsive. There are two areas where you can make a fire, plenty of chairs and tables, however I wish the table at the top was not slanting as much. There was a gas heater in the tent which was not needed. You cannot take your car near the site, it has to be parked away, but there is a cart there to bring all your stuff. I would definitely consider going here again. Thanks.”
“This site was perfect for my husband and I. We’ve always been avid campers, but as we’ve gotten older it’s been harder to roll out the sleeping bags and set up the tent. The canvass tent and bed at Jacob’s Creek took away the stress, giving us more time to cook on the fire, walk and swim the nearby creek, and the location allowed us to even take a short drive to a delicious pizza place on a rainy night. Despite being right off the highway, you’re totally secluded in the woods, offering privacy from the hustle and bustle and the best nights of sleep we’ve had in ages. Justin was quick to communicate, the amenities were bountiful without feeling too much like “glamping,” and he even gave us some delicious home made cider and honey. Highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to come back again!”
“Beautiful campsite & property! The owner is very helpful and gracious, and even gifted us some honey from his bees and some homemade apple cider. The campsite is HUGE and we didn't even have the chance to utilize it all! There were two firepits, two tables, and tons of seating options. The creek was cool and clean. We definitely recommended renting the owner's kayaks or tubes and going for a trip down the Delaware! The river is accessible from the campsite (go through the tunnel!) for a short journey, but for a longer trip we decided to drive up to the boat launch behind Lambertville Station restaurant. It was about 8.5 miles back to camp, very fun trip!
The only thing we would've changed about our stay would be booking another night or two!”
