“Great private campsite. Came well stocked with firewood and other amenities. Available canoe & kayak great bonus! Somehow no mosquitos or biting flies! The only drawbacks... tent/site faces east... and dock for swimming near owners house...”
“The campsite is beautiful . It was the perfect setting for our family . The tent itself is quite spacious with space for a toddler air bed on the floor. The shower and toilet arrangements are outdoors which was a little challenging with kids. There are provisions for Toilet paper, drinking water, coal, building a fire and a wagon . The only thing I would add is an umbrella , the property faces east and can get sunny and bright very quickly . An umbrella around the table would be a nice way to have some shade. There are no electrical outlets as it should be . Scott himself was amazing and so helpful in answering questions .
The lake is pristine and having a boat helped us explore the lake further. The hiking trail around the lake was also very beautiful and well kept. It was perfect for the kids , there was so much for them to do around the camp site for a weekend .”
“We just returned from the most wonderful weekend at Serenity Grove. As someone who does not consider herself a "camping" person, I had a blast! The accommodations were not only beautiful, but well equipped for all our needs. Not to mention the stunning lakefront view, gorgeous walking trails among the trees, and just quiet. Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Would love to return.”
“This place was amazing. So secluded and so pretty. Everything was set up perfectly. In fact, it was so perfect that we never did the hiking we planned; we just walked around the lake and took the canoe out and just enjoyed the wind in the trees and the quiet. The first night was 34 degrees, but the stove made everything warm and cozy. The communication was great, too. We never saw anyone but had all our questions answered quickly. There was cell service too. We'll be back!”
“Just stunning. Serene is the perfect adjective. The lake this camp sits on is completely private.
Very well equipped set up - 2 kayaks, charcoal, lanterns, air bed with electric pump, plenty of fire lighters, plastic storage units, and 10 gallons of water are provided - just bring bed linen (it gets super cold at night, from below the bed/ground), towels and a wash basin for doing the dishes!
Don’t hesitate- this place is magical.”
“This is a wonderful site on the edge of a lake. The site has everything you need except sleeping bags, food, and plates and cutlery (which is standard for Tentrr). The campsite manager had everything ready to go with a fire set up in the firepit and in the tent camp stove. The kayak and canoe were perfect to enjoy the lake and easy to use. We never saw the owner and/or site manager, which made it feel like our own private hideaway. There are trails for walking alongside part of the lake. The dome tent was easy to assemble.”
“My first Tentrr outing. The hosts were well prepared and communicated everything I needed before the trip. They had plenty of firewood, a charcoal grill, solar lights adding a great touch for the night.
The campsite was heaven on earth. We never left the area as all the hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking could be done right there.
My daughters 1st camping trip age 10 years old... she sums up the experience best... “Best trip ever!””
