“Excellent place to stay if you’re looking for an adventure. The Tentrr is immersed in nature. You are in the middle of a forest. The sound of waterfalls and a stream will always be present, and you have a selection of trails to hike or can even make your path. Getting from the parking location to the Tentrr can be, however, a bit challenging, especially if your belongings are on the heavy side. I would not recommend this listing for anyone who is not somewhat fit. Also, make sure to bring a flashlight and other equipment. I recommend a cast iron skillet, which will make cooking on the fire pit much easier. Phil is great host. Always responsive and recommended the Speckled Trout restaurant in Blowing Rock, which was delicious. Blowing Rock is a relatively close by car, so you can always make a quick switch-up to civilization if necessary.”
