Fully prepped and very clean site & tent, with the water filled & ready upon arrival - paper towels too!
Nice extras like plastic table cloths (attached), sun umbrella over the table & larger sun covering over the cook / prep area. Add in the Tiki lights (flame lit) that add quite a bit of nice lighting around the tent.
Site is super-private, up on a hill, and it’s a couple hills & tree groves away from the host’s house. Easy access to additional water (without going all the way to host’s home itself). Site fully cleared of trees (except for the nice giant one by the tent), so minimal bugs and a great spot for a group of any size.
Woke up to 5 deer in my ‘yard’. Oh, and the star gazing is quite incredible. I could see the Milky Way galaxy easily with the naked eye, so you can imagine how impressive the sky is both day & night time.
Attentive (by email / text) hosts, and also gave us our privacy, unless we might need something.”
“It was my second time at this site. The host is super lovely and I felt very taken care of. There are also a lot of unadvertised extras at this site such as bedding, toys, trampoline etc which totally made my life easier as a solo parent traveling with kids. The animals are a big draw for my teens and we had a lot of fun interacting with them. The site is very private and perfect for these socially distanced times. Prepare for very cool evenings, and maybe bring some kiln dried wood to mix with the wood on site which may be a little damp to start easily. Overall a favorite and we'd be very likely to go back a third time.”
“This site was as beautiful in real life as it was in the pictures, not too far from attractions, the owners of the land were super friendly and helpful and were always available and accommodated us in every way possible! I would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking to enjoy a nice hike on the property and beautiful views of the sunset and stars at night!”
