“Breathless views of Catskill mountain peaks. The host was very kind and responsive. If you don’t have 4-wheel drive, expect to carry your camping belongings up a steep hill. Well worth it for the views :)”
“We loved this campsite! So open, easy to find, great amenities. Just the right amount of luxe and roughing it. Highly recommend this site and we hope to visit again in the fall or next summer.”
“I have been an Airbnb client for years and this is the first poor review I give. Pictures are deceitful and do not depict the location accurately. There is NO pond. I chose this location specifically because of the swimming pond for my dogs and I even reached out to confirm before I booked. When we arrived the site was clearly marked with a Tentrr sign and to my surprise, there was no pond in sight. Before we arrived communication was precarious and took days to get an answer so I looked for the manual for answers or a map, and there were no instructions manual, no map, and no one to ask questions to. We even drove around and there was no pond in sight. All of this, while it was pouring. If there was a pond I would have considered staying but unfortunately that was not the case so we left right away. When I reached out to Airbnb they said the owner stated there was a pond "on the other side". This was a waste of money because I did not receive a refund and I had to find another place last minute. Unfortunately, this was an awful experience for us.”
“This tentrr location was perfect for first time campers and included all the necessities for a great experience. During the morning, the views from the campsite were beautiful and at night, you can clearly see the night sky and stars. I will definitely book again. Our dogs had a great time as well.”
“This trip was perfect! The property is absolutely beautiful and private and the tent site in superb condition and we had everything we could need to camp for 2 nights plus our own supplies! The air beds were comfy and wood burning stove kept us warm at night. The property owner was very nice and asked if we needed anything when we arrived. We are definitely booking again. You definitely need an AWD vehicle to get to the tent site on the property because if it rains or is misty the grass/mud will be slippery. Don't bring a sedan. We had no problem getting to the tent site with our Chevy Traverse. It was the perfect getaway! Planning to return.”
