Note about the path: When the path to the campsite is muddy it is difficult even with 4-wheel drive, particularly coming down. We were there with 1–2 inches of fresh snow in places, but not really on the path itself. When the ground was frozen, the 4runner made it up easily, but when it thawed, it was a little slippery. The walk up is easy enough.”
