Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Our family of 4 with two boys (aged 6 and 10) had a magical weekend here! We had so much fun exploring the property and the boys could have played in the stream leading to the river forever. We enjoyed apple picking one day nearby, the playground at pops, and glorious hiking/scenery a short drive away at Lake Minnewaska. We’ve been to several great Tentrr’s, but this was our favorite so far!”
“We love this place! The farm is huge. Our tent is not too far from the river and the water sound is so calming at night. We had two nights and rest so well. Will recommend to our friends.”
“When we seach in tentrr we choosed “walden riverside farm “ because it’s close to river and not far away from town. “This place is PERFECT! The tent is located privately in the back of the hemp field right on the river. You can’t see or hear anyone but some deers and birds.
There’s a lot to see in the area but, honestly, once you get to this place all you want is to sit on the platform and enjoy the silence and the view.
The tent is very comfortable. It was raining at night during our stay but we were nice warm and dry inside.
Definitely recommend it to anyone from romantic couples to families with kids.”
“Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Lovely, secluded little spot with access to great trails. It was really unique to stay at a hemp farm - it smells funny driving in but you quickly forget it's there, and by the time you leave you don't notice at all.
On the night we stayed, we had a cold snap and the weather dropped well below freezing. We managed to get the gas heater working, so all was well. But I think the hosts should provide some more bedding, and clear instructions on how to turn on the gas heater, AND a reminder to shut off all valves when not in use - we ran out on the 2nd night because we didn't know a second valve had to be closed.
Hosts were helpful - lent us a can opener and other gear no problem. Great trip, and I'd definitely go again.”
