“Thanks again for a wonderful weekend. We were more than surprised and grateful for the lengths that our Campkeeper went to make our weekend an enjoyable experience—firewood, tiki torches, lanterns, and much more. We spent most of our time on sit by the river and in front of the tent, but every minute was worth it. Looking forward to visiting again soon.”

“Historic Riverside Farm was our first Tentrr experience. We were looking for a break from the pandemic and an opportunity to disconnect from the devices and reconnect with nature and the family. We took our five kids ages 3-11. My husband and I and our youngest stayed in the Tentrr tent and we brought our own tent for the kids, though our host did provide a dome tent as well.
The Tentrr tent and included amenities like fire pit, pop up canopy, picnic area and camp loo were all perfect. The bed was comfortable and the inclusion of the usb fan in the tent was a life saver on the first night, which, in mid-August, was quite warm.
The location of the Riverside Farm in Walden, NY was an easy and relatively quick drive from Southern New Jersey, even with a few potty stops for the kids along the way. While we brought most of our own food to cook on the camp fire grill, we did find local coffee and a great sandwich shop nearby for when we picnicked and hiked at nearby Minnewasksa State Park.
The farm itself is magnificent in it's rolling hills and old, but well maintained, barns and buildings. The campsite is just steps from the banks of the Wallkill River, which was only knee deep to our youngest kids. We skipped rocks, walked in the river, and fished for three days. While being convenient to get to, it was still sufficiently dark in the evenings to see more stars than we've seen in years.
Finally, our hosts, Sam and Melissa, were so welcoming and hospitable. If we needed something, Sam was there within in minutes. Firewood, trash pick up, help with water, recommendations for hiking - anything we needed. We forgot batteries for an air mattress pump and when we texted Sam to ask where the nearest store was, instead of giving us directions he went out and bought us the batteries. Sam was obviously busy working on the farm, but never missed an opportunity to say hello or check if we needed something. And he always had Luna, the most beautiful, friendliest Doberman Pinscher, by his side; Luna's visits were definitely a highlight for our kids.
Stop shopping and book the Historic Riverside Farm, you won't be disappointed. We can't wait to go back. -Yvonne & Jim O'Donnell”
