“Great campsite, would definitely go back. Tent was very warm with a fire going in 40 degree nights. Responsive host, very helpful. Kids had a great time playing in the stream.”
“Everything was perfect! Absolutely cannot wait until our next stay up at Max’s property. He made everything simple, and the property itself was beautiful!”
“Wow this place was amazing, beautiful and clean! The host was very fast to respond and his wife Karen was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Do keep in mind there is no electricity whatsoever and no service, perfect way to disconnect! We saw deer, the creek is like a 10 minute walk behind the tent. Make sure to bring garbage bags for your trash. Bring extra blankets, leggings and long sleeves because it gets really cold at night! Bring pillows too! You have a beautiful view of the mountains from your tent! Seriously all around amazing! Please take care of it so that we can all continue to enjoy this place!”
“Thank you Max for the sufficient camp site. Great hiking down the road and the walkable swimming hole was used to cool down from the hot day - a nice time. There is not much shade in the tent nor picnic area so if able bring a sun shade do so. Would come again.”
“Max was the best host i’ve ever had, and this is hands down the best site i’ve visited on tentrr so far.
Not only was he the best communicator, the space was so well supplied. THE TENT IS BRAND NEW. Don’t let any of the old comments about the tent having holes turn you off. The guy staying at the camp put wet wood in the furnace and it built up a crazy residue. The guest ruined the tent and then tried to blame the host… crazy!
Max told us some incredible stories, and was super prompt if whenever we had any questions. The space is one of a kind, the trek through the creeks was not bad - make sure you have an SUV.
I will be coming back as soon as possible !”
“Our two night stay at High Peak Meadows was absolutely sublime. From the drive in across three steams and three meadows, to the mountain views and soothing sounds of the Roaring Kill creek - a stones through from the tent side. A quiet, idyllic, private spot. Thanks Max, for sharing such wonderful land.”
