“Incredible setting. Max is responsive and helpful. We had nearby Roaring Kills Falls nearly to ourselves, with only a handful of hikers walking past. Deeply invigorating swim! Total privacy at the campsite, couldn’t hear anything but the birds and didn’t see a soul. Would love to come back.”
“A beautifully remote view of the mountains. There’s a stream 30 yards away and a beautiful waterfall with a private trail head to and from that takes about 10 mins to hike. Fortunately the water was low so our Subaru Impreza was able to cross both streams to get to the tent. Max was super responsive and helpful. Will return for sure!”
“The site was fantastic, getting to the camping area did require 4x4 but well worth it. I would give the owner's an excellent review for keeping the site clean and giving good instructions for a first time user of tentrr.”
“We spent three beautiful October days at High Peaks Meadows. The site is clean, private and has such beautiful views, especially the night skies. Our two dogs enjoyed exploring and running free. I would recommend this site for all outdoorsy people, great for families with children, lots of exploring, hiking and discovering. Make sure you are driving a car that can clear creek crossings. We were there during a dry season but I imagine when the creeks are high it can be tricky to cross. Max was easy to communicate with and provided us with everything we needed. We are looking forward to returning in the Spring.”
“We did Shoharie Creek in summer which was great to be swimming next to the campsite, and this was the perfect fall site alongside Roaring Kill which is not deep enough to swim but with great views down the meadow and across to the hills. The extra picnic table was very handy, and site has plenty of space, plus the walk to the waterfalls was as good as many of the falls that take a longer hike. The drive up across the creek was fine, we had a Honda CRV but a 2WD with good clearance would be fine (like a Subaru) if you drove carefully. Max had the site well prepared and ready to go - thank for having us again Max.”
