This campsite is magical! We visited just as the leaves were starting to change, and we enjoyed every bit of beautiful nature the surrounding area and site itself have to offer. Communication with Jenna before the trip was easy, friendly and helpful. She made sure to give us a heads up that it would be getting cold at night while we were there and doublechecked if we wanted to purchase the daily unlimited firewood for our stay- I'm so glad we did! Dennis came by and hooked us up early on the first day, and kept us supplied so that our firepit, grill and wood stove inside the tent were always toasty. The site has so many great natural features (like the waterfalls just feet from the picnic table or the perfect clearing that lets you look up at the stars through the trees), as well as great additional elements that they've thought of (including a bridge and deck overlooking the river, an outdoor shower hooked up to the running water and a full outhouse with TP and wet wipes). The tent is bare bones with the stove, cot, air mattress and a couple of boxes to put your things on- don't forget to bring bedding! If you decide to go out exploring, check out the upper delaware river access point just a couple minutes from the farm and don't miss the Riverside Creamery in Port Jervis, approx. 10-15 minutes out- the fried ice cream and bread pudding were out of this world :)

We had a great time at this campsite. My family and I had a awesome time here. The set up they have is really cute. Definitely looking forward to come back again. Jenna was very helpful with all my questions and responded really fast thru my emails and friends calls.

This place is simply amazing, and the owners are doing a wonderful job, creating the perfect setting to get away and be out there. there is no phone services there, but i was getting texts so if you need to stay in touch use that. the host came to check on us making sure all is well. having the running brook right there was awesome and therapeutic. thanks again for opening up your place for guests to enjoy as well!

The camp site is a real treat! Right when you pull up to the site, you know that the camp keepers built it with it's campers in mind with all the craftmanship touches especially the deck by the river. Communication with the host prior to the trip was great as a first time user of tentrr with providing directions, list of things to bring and local attractions. The site was large enough for a girls weekend away from the nyc/nj area. Our first night was great enjoying the fire pit and deck area, but we almost ran out of wood before calling it a night! Thankfully, we saved some to not freeze overnight and reached out to our host the following day (no reply to emails/messages/voicemail). We were beyond relieved to see a campkeeper on an rv with a trailer full of wood midday! Don't expect phones to work at the camp site until you head out towards Port Jervis! Perfect spot to hike for waterfalls and enjoy beautiful Delaware Water Gap views. I can't wait to plan another trip in the spring!!

Overall, nice location, Dennis is awesome and very talented in his building skills, but this was definitely NOT the easy "glamping" experience Tentrr suggests. Mongaup River Camp probably needs more staff to make sure all the accommodations are ready and in good condition before campers arrive. The land and location of the campsite is awesome. Great hikes to waterfall, also near open field for stargazing. Dennis, the guy that's in charge of the campground was very friendly and able to rent out a canoe to us last minute even though we hadn't booked it ahead of time. Unfortunately when we arrived on the first night, the 5-person tent that was supposed to be included was soaking wet and had holes in the mesh. Three members of our group were stranded without a place to sleep. We had also requested dry firewood to be available but the wood on the premises was wet. The toilet provided by Tentrr looked like it had been sitting out in rainfall for a while and the wooden toilet seat was cracked/peeling from water damage which looked like maybe if you moved around while sitting down on it you might've gotten a splinter. It was late when we arrived, and we had told the campkeeper such ahead of time. Though we were able to run into town and buy firewood from the 24 hour Walmart, they were not able to replace the wet tent until the next day. Dennis also installed an outhouse the next day on the campsite which we were all grateful for. Also it was pretty much impossible to reach anyone through the phone number provided (no one ever picked up), so the only way was to email and hope someone receives it in time. I contacted both campkeeper/Tentrr about the issues a week ago mainly because the tent that was paid for was not available for half of our trip, and I have yet to hear back so customer service has been pretty slow in addressing these issues.

This is our second time at the Mongaup River Camp and this time around we wanted to share the experience with our friends. The campsite easily fit our crew 11 plus three pups. We had 4 tents setup in addition to the canvas Tentrr tent and had a wonderful experience. The campsite is a quick drive from CT and easy access from your car so you are not constantly going back and forth for the food. The natural beauty of the waterfalls, fly fishing and hiking all within walking distance makes it such an easy stay for all. I think if anything we would love to see this site add more Tentrr canvas tents to make it really unique and special. Would be great for groups or a long weekend with friends but just a little more comfortable in the canvas tent. Second stay was a hit!

Great campsite, great location, easy to drive almost directly up to the camp site but also feel like you have privacy. The sound of the running water at night was very peaceful. Plenty of room for a large group, we had 3 tents setup in addition to the canvas Tentrr tent and it did not feel cramped at all! Would absolutely visit again!

We had a nice stay at this site. It rained heavily our first night and we appreciated that they put our firewood undercover to keep it dry. This site has a few lovely extras including a bridge and wood deck perched over the creek and falls. You can hear the water from the tent at night. The campkeeper gave us clear instructions prior to arrival and someone checked in once during our stay. We hope to come again next summer.
