Lewis was great, showed us where to go when we got there and left us with everything we need. He was accessible if needed but we did not need to contact him.
The site is a perfect location - secluded and tucked away. I did not need to go into town during my short stay but it was nice to know that it was a short ride away. I loved the seclusion of the property and not seeing any other houses or buildings. The surrounding woods was so pretty and peaceful and I loved walking down some of the short trails. I was lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunset and sunrise.
Sleeping accommodations were great and comfortable. We didn't need to use the stove in the tent because we had mild temps. The firepit and grill grate allowed us to cook and heat everything we needed. Firewood left for us was a nice bonus!
I definitely recommend this site for a stay. I'd come back.”
“Great first tentrr experience. everything was fine. Lewis was very helpful - showed me the path of how to get there, was always in touch. A lot of helpful stuff on-site like cooking things, small cooler. The site was clean and nice.
It's not very about views - almost everything is hidden behind the trees, but about silence, beautiful sky and town in 5 minutes if you need something.”

“Perfect getaway spot!! My husband and I are avid campers but wanted to try tentrr for our anniversary weekend hoping it would still give the feel of campibg with a lot less work! And it did! Hillsdale Hideaway is an absolutely beautiful spot where you feel truly away from it all but you aren't! Hillsdale/Copake area offers lots of great opportunities for hiking, exploring and plenty of great dining options too! And Great Barrington area is just a short drive for even more to do.
Lewis was the absolute best host! He was just a text away to help us with every single question we had along the way!
