“We stayed at the "overlook" tentrr site. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the tent overlooks the sun rise. It is also very private and yet just a short walk from the zoo. We also had access to the Long Neck Inn, which was so sweet, and so neat that it's actually renovated giraffe stalls. The Long Neck Inn is beautiful inside. The zoo was so much fun to explore. I highly recommend staying here.”
“This was our first Tentrr experience and we could not be happier. The moment we arrived we were greeted by Ben who was a gracious host and very attentive to our questions. He showed us around, including the Long Neck Inn where we could use the indoor plumbing restroom or outdoor shower if we needed. It also has a coffee area which made our morning much better. He then took us to our site. The area is just remote enough to feel like we were all by ourselves but knew the inn is just a minute away if we needed it. The "loo" was exactly what we expected and did exactly what it is meant to do. It was very windy at night and the tent was plenty warm without even using or needing the stove. The view was extraordinary as the sun came above the horizon this morning. Everything was clean and with the Covid precautions in place, we felt safe and were able to truly enjoy our time. Being able to explore the abandoned zoo was such a treat for me. I had been when I was much younger, and to be able to walk the grounds with my wife was such a great time. We didn't check out nearly enough either, so we have to go back. All in all, it was a 5 star experience and we cant wait to return.”
“This site was so exciting and comfortable! Arriving was very easy, and Ben was able to accommodate our changing arrival time due to traffic. The area was so cool to walk around and explore. The site itself was comfortable and the nights were peaceful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!”
“This was our 4th Tentrr weekend at a new location - the highlight was the creek 2 miles drive away with swimming holes and just beautiful surroundings. There are things that could be improved ie tarp to keep the wood dry (the wood got soaked and we had trouble getting a fire going), a cover of some sort for when it rains (some of the tentrr sites provide a cover of the dining table so there is protection from the downpours), a large container for drinking water (this was available at the lodge which is either a couple minutes drive or 20 mins walk but not convenient. These minor improvements would make a huge difference to the comfort of the trip.”
“This place is amazing! Great COVID precautions made us feel like our getaway was both safe and fun! Cathy and Ben are wonderful hosts. The campsite was secluded and well kept. Having the Inn available, but far enough away made us comfortable that we could use the extras there if we needed to (bathroom and outdoor shower or kitchen). These folks know how to host properly!! A future must do again!”

It rained hard one night and no leaks at all. Cathy and Ben were both so nice. I didn't give 5 stars though because the mattress cover had stains. We just put our picnic mat on it before putting the sheet on.”
