This is the first time my fiancé and I have gone camping and it was truly a great experience. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights at this campsite. The moment we got there it started off with Ben showing us around the campsite. The best part is his dog also helping with the tour. The dog literally should be nicknamed the tour guide. Ben and Cathy have two animals( a dog and cat). Both animals are extremely friendly and we had zero issues while camping. The campsite was clean and ben was always readily available when we had questions. They have a small store, and places to store food which was an extreme help. We truly enjoyed the experience and definitely recommend this campsite to anyone. Ben and Cathy were really nice and accommodating to us and we cannot thank them enough!!!!!!

We had a fantastic time camping on The Old Game Farm! Cathy and Ben were great, very communicative and welcoming. The campsite was the perfect size for our large group to set up tents and sit around BBQing over the fire. We loved exploring the abandoned zoo and visiting the near by swimming locations. It was a very relaxing weekend. We look forward to doing it again soon!

Ben and Cathy were super communicative and always open to questions. They're very kind and gracious. the property we stayed on was peacefully secluded, with the best views. The tent and campfire space provided was sturdy through the rain and was also way above our expectations. The game farm we explored was spooky and amazing to venture through and we even were accompanyed by the friendliest dogs and cats that happily showed us around. We defiantly would come here again!

We had such a great time. The site is absolutely stunning, and the kits made everything so easy. Also, the hosts have this fantastic "shop" where you can purchase anything you need, which we found super helpful. If you are looking to get away and feel one with nature, this site will give you that and more. We hiked during the day to nearby waterfalls on Ail trail, swam at Riedleberg Resort - it's an hour hike - and cooked yummy meals over the grill every night. We highly recommend!

Great view, peaceful atmosphere, plus how many people can say they camped in an abandoned zoo?? The best part of the trip was the hospitality of the caretakers- the ambition of Ben & Cathy is amazing!

This campsite was great! I loved property and the abandoned zoo was veryyy cool. Ben and Cathy were really great camp keepers...They checked in on us after the first night to make sure we didn't need anything and made us feel very at home for the couple of nights we stayed. Thank you!!

We had an amazing time at this site over the July 4th weekend. The property is really a treat with the old abandoned zoo that you're free to explore. The camp site is tucked away inside the large property and very secluded. It was just what we were looking for. We brought our little dog who had a blast as well. The camp site was neat when we arrived and Ben did a great job showing us around and getting us oriented with the property. Ben and Cathy were super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I feel they have gone above and beyond with their attention to detail and being prepared to make sure everything that can come up would easily be addressed. In addition to the wonderful property, there's tons to see and do just a short drive away. We picked up fresh local vegetables and fruit at Story Farms and farm fresh eggs near by as well. We also got to see Kaaterskill Falls, a fantastic trail with a beautiful waterfall. We would definitely come here again!

Cathy was very communicative before our groups arrival and provided just the right amount of information for us to arrive and plan our weekend. On arrival, we met Ben who showed us to our site and also was available throughout our stay through text or call. Once our whole group arrived we were able to tour the old zoo (we pre-signed our waivers and sent it to Cathy and Ben through email). The hosts keep most of the buildings on the Game Farm unlocked so we were able to explore to our hearts content. Everything from abandoned barns, animal cages and basements. The location sits on large property and we were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of beautiful nature filled trails located around the Game Farm. The camp site was perfect for our group and was about 1/4 mile away from where we met Ben. Our group had a dog with us and he absolutely loved it. We also had the opportunity to hang out with Grady (Ben's dog), he would occasionally wander to our site and we quite enjoyed his company. The site had plenty of room for us to pitch our own tents besides the provided tentrr tent and also the extra tent that we did not use. The fire pit was perfect and we used it almost our entire time for entertainment, bug repellant and cooking all of our meals. This was our groups first tentrr experience and we all enjoyed it very much thanks to a wonderful host. We can only hope to have another host as great as Cathy and Ben on our next tentrr booking.
