“We loved our stay here! Not having to set up a tent, and having the luxury of a queen bed, but still being so connected to nature was amazing. The site was both close to Ithaca and all of the amazing restaurants and gorges, but also isolated enough to not see anyone else the entire time we were camping. The bed was very comfortable and the tent was the perfect temperature on a very hot weekend, along with a battery-operated tent fan. We also brought an ez-up for shade over the picnic table which was the right move. Our very large dog had an amazing time rambling around the property off-leash. Heads up that cell signal is unpredictable at the site, so communicating with the hosts before you arrive would be recommended, and make sure to check your email and not rely on the messages thru the Airbnb platform. Overall a lovely experience!”
“This is a great, little campsite, which is very private and dog-friendly. We met one of the owners, Mike, who was extremely helpful, but my husband was also in touch with Lucy, as well. Everyone was very responsive and pleasant. We wish we'd had more time (and better weather!) to explore the area, but other than that, it's a great place!”
“This is a great spot very close to hiking trails. The hosts provided us with two large things of water. There are some cooking tools provided as well. And a beautiful firefly light show at night.”

The tent was clean and cozy! Mike was very helpful in guiding us to the site once we arrived. Everything was stocked and ready to go.

“Very beautiful set up in the meadow amongst the chickens, ducks, and goats! Clean, tidy and the supply of firewood was a nice bonus. The owners added some extra amenities to help us with settling in. ie. wireless lamp, cooking utensils, firesticks, guest book etc. The sun shower was a little confusing and we were unable to set up properly -- didn't see any directions for it but we made it work! Overall, we definitely recommend!”
“Great location right next to Buttermilk Park, tons of great walking trails nearby. Felt very private and secluded but nearby all amenities. Bed was super comfortable and the tent fireplace came in handy for the cold rainy weekend. Hosts were nice about getting us everything we needed.”

The location is conveniently located (about a 10 minute drive from Ithaca) but also remote enough that you get a true camping experience. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and the site itself was immaculately clean. Would definitely stay again!”
