“Great campsite with lots of space! Bob was very helpful as he showed us around and gave us some tips for the night, and if anything was needed I could contact him. Also very easy to find the area with all the signs directing the way. Would definitely recommend staying here!”
“What a cute little spot. Steps away from a wonderful, flowing river. All the privacy you could want. Close enough to run to a store if you forgot something. We had a blast. We picked the hottest weekend of the year to camp, but we stuck it out. The river was really key. We were able to sit in our chairs in the water and stay cool. We'd love to come back in the fall!”
“The site is very nice and well maintained. The signs were very helpful getting to the campsite the first time. Bob also gave a great document with info for the area and was very helpful with tips for beating the current mosquito swarm”
“We had a very easy glamping experience at Souhegan Serenade. The site is situated privately away on the property and was easy to find and easy to park. One of the reasons we selected this site was due to being able to have the cars nearby to source from and keep things dry. Bob was welcoming, attentive and helpful. Due to the rains we requested the propane tank for the interior tent to keep things dry. It worked for one night-hindsight we should’ve asked for a second tank (or a full tank to begin with) to keep it comfortable for our stay. This is primarily due to the heavy rains -usually probably not needed. The tent comes equipped with a queen bed (my sheets fit) and we had a bunk cot. Not bad. We opted to but the loo outside of the tent in the privacy shelter. (Not the best-but beats stinking up the tent). Hindsight I would’ve just put the potty seat down a trail amongst the trees. The tent has one small camp lantern inside with an end table as well. We really appreciated the fact that the tent and eating area were covered by a shelter tarp-keeping main camp dry-but the sun does not hit this area due to this. However, there is enough light power for the solar lights to work. There is cell service-patchy-but doable with no problems. Great first time TentRR experience!”
“We stayed for two nights, and we completely enjoyed it! Bob is very responsive and helpful. He every day checked in with us if we need anything, and gave us a ride for Kayak. The property is very isolated, you won't see anyone but it's close to Bob's house and street like a 1-2min slow ride from the woods. and the river is accessible from the tent site. You'll get 5 gallon water, firewood arrival and we didn't need any refill for our stay. You can do swimming, tubing, or kayak in the river, the river is quite shallow so it's safe for everyone if you're going from the campsite. It's perfect for a weekend getaway if you like privacy but still want to be close to everything.”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Souhegan Serenade in August. The hosts were great and it was fantastic to have access to walk the large property and be so close to the water for wading. Will definitely be back!”
