Took a late season getaway for a few days and it was great! The location of the site makes you feel as you are the only person around and overlooking the river. The set up is great and comfortable. The best part was dealing with Bob and Tini, that were both so nice and accommodating I can't say enough good things. I will definitely be back!

Our host went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable despite inclement weather. The surrounding location was beautiful and peaceful.

Bob and Tini were very easy to work with and made sure we had a great time. We opted for self check-in and check-out since the goal was to see as few people as possible this weekend. I was a little worried while we were driving up since the area looked a bit more suburban than we were expecting, but once we turned down the little side road from the driveway we were pleasantly surprised by how secluded the spot was. The site itself was gorgeous with all the fall colors and a ton of wildlife. It includes a standard Tentrr setup (canvas tent w/ wood stove and bunk bed with blow up mattresses, a couple of chairs, picnic table with benches, fire pit), as well as a small canopy, trash and recycling, and a space to set up an extra tent. There was also a TON of firewood provided, which was great. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to take advantage of the river due to the drought going on, but it looks like it would be a great place to kayak around once the water levels go back up. There are plenty of other outdoorsy activities in the general area so it wasn't a huge loss. Some things to be aware of: - As other reviews have stated, there is an airport nearby and it looks like the flight path goes right over the campsite. This did not bother us once we got used to it, but some of the planes can be fairly loud. Other than the planes and occasional distant barking from what I assume is the neighbor's dog, it was nature sounds only. - If you are bringing sheets for the mattresses note that they are king sized. We brought queen sized sheets with us that we ended up not being able to use. - The wood stove was great and super easy to use with the detailed instructions in the tent, but be prepared to get up several times throughout the night to add wood to it (this goes for every Tentrr site). All in all this was a fantastic fall glamping experience and we had a great time. Thank you again Bob and Tini for making this possible for us! - Vladimir

We had a really great weekend staying at Souhegan Serenade. The campsite is beautiful, in a little clearing in the woods and just a few steps from the river which you can hear from the site. Bob has put a ton of small details into the site that make it great - a covering over the picnic table and camp toilet, wood assortment sorted by size to make it easy to start fires, carbon monoxide detector in the tent so you dont have to worry about using the stove. Really great stay and we would love to come back. Thank you!

As others have mentioned, Bob and Tini were excellent hosts. We were looking to have a break without worrying too much about seeing people. They introduced themselves and gave us the space and time to enjoy their beautiful spot. My daughter can't wait to return to go in the river again!

A wonderful getaway! We were able to disconnect, relax, and feel secluded without having to travel too far. Bob and Tini were incredibly helpful, and always a text away if we needed anything. Wilson was also a terrific tour guide and playmate for our pup. Would absolutely stay again.

This site is a great place to rest and feel nature all around you, the river runs very close by, unfortunately it was too low to enjoy the kayaks and the floats, but we were able to find deep parts where we could swim. Bob was really good in keeping in touch all the time and bringing everything we needed. Very important was to use the campsite freely, Bob and his wife were super respectful and we did not see them more than twice in our 4 days. Everything is very well kept and they offer a private tent to set up the loo if that works best for you.

Amazing hosts, very caring. We had a lovely time and the spot is very quiet and well maintained. Perhaps a bit overpriced for what's offered. Access to the river is a short walk. Make sure to wear water shoes as it's not completely clean (You can see old car wheels at the bottom and also I got a piece of glass that got through my shoe and got my foot).
