“An amazing experience!
Bob and Tini keep a beautiful site on their property. They were extremely thoughtful hosts with everything in perfect condition. Everything was clean and ready to use. Despite being deep into their 26 acre property, our tent was easy to locate. They had left us some nets for the river and the bug tent over the table area. There was plenty of wood waiting.
The setting is amazing. We were just up from the river in a completely private location. A short trail down the bank brought us to a babbling stretch of the river with frogs and small fish. We walked a bit to a sandbar to fish for something slightly larger. There were several deeper areas close to our tent where we could swim. Otherwise, a bit further upstream was a true swimming "pond", where the river widens just below the rocks. We had also reserved the canoe for our trip. Bob left it close to the river and texted me several pictures with instructions on how to locate it. It was near the swimming hole and easy to find. There is a trail on Bob's property that runs along the bank to the swimming hole. All trails have mulch and, to make it even more fun, wooden bridges to cross over the runoff streams.
Bob and Tini are very considerate of their campers and checked in via text to see if everything was good and whether we needed anything. We met up with Bob for a chat and tips for hiking up the river and exploring - he is a fund of information. His dog Wilson was a big hit with out girls!
All in all, we can't recommend this site enough. My husband said it was the first time he has been able to disconnect in a long time and my girls were all smiles and giggles for the entire trip.”
“So thankful to Bob and Tini for letting us camp at their gorgeous property- we literally booked the day of due to our previous campsite being cancelled 3 days before our trip. This was the only weekend my siblings and I could get work off together, so we absolutely needed to go camping and this site was perfect for us! The secluded river at Souhegan Serenade was our favorite part, we stayed in it the entire time the sun was out, which was exactly what we had planned on doing this weekend. Loved the sand bar, walking up to the different drop-in spots with our floats and floating down, especially since the river had a nice smooth current to it; our dogs loved swimming too, and they had fun playing with the owners pup! We appreciated that the picnic table was already set up with a screened ez-up when we arrived; we always bring our own screened porch while camping and we used ours essentially as a living room until we started a fire- the mosquitoes were present, but not a nuisance. We were also very grateful that the poison ivy was marked with yellow flags! We are all wicked allergic, and we know there was no way to spot all of it, but just seeing the warning flags in some areas made us extra vigilant to watch where we stepped, especially with our dogs running around. Glad we took advantage of the huge bundle of firewood add-on so we didn't have to worry about picking any up on our drive there. There were five of us and two dogs, plenty of room for everyone since the canvas tent had bunk beds inside and we used the additional dome tent. Highly recommend this site!”
“Camp site was secluded and well maintained. Was able to do some fishing on the stream at the camp site. Restaurants and outdoor activities were close to site.”
“A wonderful camp spot in New Hampshire! Bob and his family were excellent hosts. The campsite was clean and well maintained. The area is secluded, allowing you to feel like you're deep in the woods - but in reality, you are only minutes away from "civilization." I would recommend this spot for anyone who is looking for a relaxing unplugged weekend!”
“This was our first Tentrr experience and we weren't really sure what to expect. immediately after booking, Bob, the camp keeper was a great communicator. Answering questions we had. As soon as we arrived Bob welcomed us and offered us to come by to pick fresh berries and Summer corn. The site was great. Right on the river. The mosquitos were brutal with the weather but Bob helped us out by already having the screened porch up. The site was quite and there is NO ONE around. The next day we paddled, fished, and wadded in the river. It was so relaxing. Later in the afternoon we picked up our fresh eggs we purchased from Bob and his wife, Tini. They showed us where the chickens were then the gave us so fresh corn and berries. All the amenities Tentrr offers is great but Tini and Bob make this one special. They are extremely helpful and you can connect with them as much (or not at all) during your stay. They were super accommodating and responsive. We will definitely be back again.”
