This was our second stay at A PA Dutch Dromijn, and we loved it even more than the first time. Gena is such a great hostess and so helpful. For this visit, we were two moms, three kids, and three dogs, so we used the main tent, as well as the pop up tent that Gena had all set up for us when we got there. The campsite and property is so serene and peaceful, and with plenty of nature to explore. It’s so nice to get away from the city noises and instead hear all the animals around and see so many stars at night. The sunrise and sunset views are incredible. The kids loved making s’mores and popcorn over the fire. We did all our cooking over the fire, but there was also a camping stove and grill that we had access to. We can’t wait to come back again soon.

A weekend on the farm and away from daily life was much needed! Clean and comprehensive accommodations, top notch communication from the host, and not far from home. Would recommend!

Travelled as family of 4, incl 2 teenagers, and our pooch makes 5. Stayed 2 nights in late July. This is a really nice campsite. Large, clean, plenty of room to spread out, shade trees keep it cool. Canvas tent was clean and nicely laid out. Good campfire area to sit and relax, with plenty of wood to keep the fire burning. Hammocks were comfy for naps. Used pop-up tent (already set up when we arrived) for the teens with air mattresses (we brought those). Some road noise seeps in, but doesn't go too late at night. Hosts were great and accommodating - even had extra eggs when we realized we'd forgotten to bring ours! Good hiking nearby - if you're feeling up for the challenge, try Shower's 500 steps off the Appalachian Trail. Overall a great stay - would recommend highly!

I stayed here for two nights with my son and our two dogs. We all had such a great time, with an equal amount of resting and exploring. Can’t wait to come back again soon with friends.

If you're considering - definitely book this site! It's beautiful, comfortable and has so many thoughtful touches. Our dog loved running around the creek and exploring the area. Genavieve was so kind and welcoming - many thanks for hosting us!

We had a fantastic stay for our mini-honeymoon! The site is equipped with all the essentials (TP, tissues, cooking utensils) that we packed but didn't end up needing. Genavieve was very responsive and available for any questions or concerns. Their property is amazing and has such a rich history. Our dog didn't want to leave, and we didn't either!

This new campsite on the farm is great! We loved hiking in the woods, making campfires and stargazing. Our stay was made extra special with a unicorn scavenger hunt created by the wonderful owners of Thunderbird Farm, thank you Gena! The tent was warm through the night with the heater and the inside stove was great for breakfast!
