Has such a great stay here! Patrick was a wonderful host, he gave us a walkthrough of the site and it had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed, tentrr loo, shower, huge water jug, wheelbarrow for firewood, and more. Patrick went above and beyond during our stay- when we settled in and realized we forgot wine he went out and picked some up for us!! It was very hot so he also let us take a few dips in the pool. It was extremely quiet and private and wonderful to be out in nature. It's a 15 minute drive to Cold Spring with a ton of great hiking, kayaking, food / shops. Can't recommend it enough!

Being able to camp an hour from NYC without the hassle of bringing your own camping gear is invaluable. The site is secluded while being just 10 minutes from Rt. 9. The bed is super comfy, as are the Adirondack chairs. Patrick is a generous host with excellent communication. He provides unlimited firewood for a nominal fee and access to a hose bib with potable water. Our bit of advice to fellow travelers: 1.) The road is dirt and heavily rutted. We have a Mini Cooper and it almost didn't make it. 2.) There is very little in the vicinity in the way of a real market. Shop for food and staples in Peekskill or at home before you leave. 3.) Bring towels. ENJOY!!

Had a lovely and relaxing stay on Pat’s property. Cold Springs nearby was idyllic and our stay at camp was the perfect getaway. Thanks again Pat!

Patrick was a great host and his site was lovely. There's tons to do in the area so this was a great "launching" point for hikes and other adventures. It's easy to wheelbarrow or carry your stuff back to the site, it's really not that far but far enough to be out of sight. The tent & bed were in good condition, and also plenty of good trees around to hang our hammocks for those who wanted to sleep out in the open air. Good shade at the site so not too hot. Ample parking. Good directions and campsite instructions provided.

Owner didn’t clean the tent until we arrive so we stood and watched him quickly clean up the tent in a few min. Pillows were not provided. There were powdered human waste spilled on the carpet. The carpet was also wet from a storm and was not replaced. As a result, tent smelled terribly. Salt and pepper were not available and the owner was not responsive via text when a request was sent. The distance from the car park and the wood log storage to the site is quite far. This requires a good min of walking on an uneven and curvy dirt road and could be a daunting experience if carrying a lot on the cart provided. Overall, the experience is okay, but would not prefer to pay this price or recommend this location.

Amazing stay, even in the rain. The tent was comfortable and remained dry and Pat was an amazing host who helped with anything we needed. Truly a great stay and well worth the money!
