Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“We could not have been more satisfied with our stay! We were warmly greeted by Nadine & Roger and taken on a tour of the property in their ATV. The campsite was privately situated in a beautiful landscape surrounded by forest, fields and ponds. There was a canoe in the pond near the campsite which was fun to paddle & float around in. An added bonus was the outhouse - an actual small shed with windows with curtains, door & porta-loo. There were fishing poles & lawn games to try out. The site was generously stocked with firewood, fire starters, cooking utensils, bug spray, and so much more! We got a kick out of visiting the goats & donkeys.
We could not have been more satisfied! HIGHLY recommend this to anyone wanting to truly get away from it all to rest & recharge.”
“Our first Tentrr experience and not our last! We stayed here for parents weekend at Suny Oneonta and it was absolutely perfect. Hosts Nadine and Roger led us out to the site and gave us our tour and we did not see them, or anyone else on the property for the rest of the weekend, just the resident goats, ducks, donkeys and deer.
The wood stove in the tent came in handy on our first night as it got chilly quick, and the private outhouse is an added bonus. And is a less than 10 minute drive to town. Rest, Refresh and Retreat earns it name!”
“Our group had a wonderful stay at Roger and Nadine's campsite! They went above and beyond in providing sheets, pillows, blankets, and a sleeping bag for us. There was also so much to do at the campsite -- fishing, hiking, swimming in the pond, and playing with the donkeys -- that we didn't even leave during our stay. Would definitely recommend their Tentrr to anyone :)”
“We had a such a great time! Roger and Nadine were so welcoming and had all these little extras to ensure our 3 children had a fabulous time. Our kids got to feed the goats and spent so much time with the animals. The property is breathtaking and there is so much to do. We swam and went boating, caught salamanders and the children played in the stream and hiked. We created wonderful family memories and look forward to returning.”
“What an incredible property and amazing hosts! A group of 6 adults booked Rest, Refresh, R and N Retreat for Memorial Day weekend, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we were hit with 30-40 degree temps and unrelenting rain. Roger and Nadine came to the rescue and were so kind to let us use their guest house to take respite from the rain, enjoy hot showers, and have a stove for cooking. We don’t know what we would have done otherwise, so it was such a relief.
During breaks in the rain, we played lawn games by the pond, took the canoe out for a spin, and even tired our hand at fishing. Their property is incredibly expansive with 3 ponds, lots of open space, and woods and hiking trails to explore. Our favorite part was probably seeing all the animals… donkeys, goats, ducks and more! They also have a very nice wooden outhouse for the Tentrr potty, which was a nice surprise compared to the more rustic options we’ve had to use at other sites. We also loved having farm fresh eggs for breakfast every day. The property feels completely secluded, but the town of Oneonta is about 5-10 minutes away for grabbing necessities or grabbing a bite to eat.
We absolutely will be coming back here in hopes of warmer weather so we can take full advantage of this incredible site, and spend more time swimming in the ponds. Thank you for your hospitality!”
“Beautiful, peaceful stay! Great little hiking trails and ponds to enjoy right near the tent. Roger and Nadine are so kind and attentive! We would love to stay here again someday.”
“We had a lovely time staying at the Rest, Refresh, R and N Retreat. Roger and Nadine were extremely kind hosts, even going so far as to give my son a gift when they found out it was his birthday. The location is unbelievable. Waking up surrounded by fall foliage and hiking the trails and exploring the ponds on their property was incredible. The donkeys, goats, geese, and ducks were an added bonus! My son had a great time catching and releasing newts in the three ponds. We will definitely be returning!”
