Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“We had a great time at Swinging Bridge! Jamie was an attentive host, just down the road in case we needed everything -- but the campsite was so perfectly stocked when we arrived, we didn't have to bother her! Would definitely stay again!”
“Lush and ferny, woodsy and tranquil, the Tentrr site at swinging bridge is perfect for camping. The site was incredibly well equipped—they thought of everything. We’d stay here again”
“This was a truly wonderful Tentrr site for our weekend getaway. The host was great with communication and checked in to see if we needed anything when we got there. Even though the site is near other houses and 10 minutes from town, it feels totally secluded in a little grove in the woods. There are ATV trails through the woods that were lovely for peaceful hikes, and we didn’t see another soul! The site is by the large reservoir which has a marina where we were able to rent standup paddle boards and kayaks, and it is fairly close by car to several restaurants and a grocery store if you need, not to mention the Woodstock site! The best thing about this Tentrr though was the amenities - the host thought of EVERYTHING! There was a fire pit, grill, and outhouse (super helpful!) as well as a solar shower, bug spray, flashlights, cooking tools, comfy chairs, a hammock.... we both had cell service here as well. If you want total seclusion, we did hear a bit of road noise but it never bothered us and didn’t take away at all from the peaceful experience. Sleeping was comfortable on the air mattress (we brought sleeping bags for it) and we saw deer, woodpeckers, and tiny frogs around the site. It rained one night and there were no leaks or issues at all. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience!”
“Cute site that feels remote but is actually close to a lot of stuff. There’s a lake you can swim in 10 minutes away, along with a dollar store, a gas station, a wine shop, a coffee shop, etc. You’ll feel secluded when you’re at the tent but everything you need is actually pretty close. The hosts provided us with a lot of little things that helped make the stay more enjoyable, including bug spray, toilet paper, camp fire cooking equipment, a cooler, tiki torches, and lights in the tents. There was also a place to rinse off. Nice hosts, cute spot. Dog friendly.”

“We had an amazing time at this site. There were a lot of amenities that Jamie, the host had thought of and provided (like cooking utensils and pot holders) that made our stay easier and so much more comfortable. The space is beautiful with fireflies and a busy birdhouse that kept us entertained. The hammock was relaxing and the outhouse made all the difference -- particularly with the rain the first night. There was a quick walk to the lake to cool off and the hiking trails were interesting and we saw toads and salamanders. The host was super nice and helpful. A real pleasure when discussing the details. I would love to come back one day.”
“Pleasantly surprised by how nice the campsite was! The tent was great and the area was beautiful—a nicely cleared space where you get some sun but also a lot of shade thanks to the tree coverage. They also. provide a ton of the items you may need or accidentally forget—sunscreen, pans, roasting sticks, bug spray (though there were almost zero bugs) etc.
Only minor issue was we were expecting a second tent to be included for us to set up, but we could not find it (but there was a second air mattress in the main tent). Luckily we had brought our own as backup.
Anyway, loved our stay and would 100% come back in the future (or explore another Tentrr). Thanks again!”
“Simply put, the sanctuary and its host Jamie were exceptional. The site was clean, calm and beautiful. This was our first experience with TENTRR and it exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend with no cause to pause.”
