The site was clean and beautiful - it was right by the reservoir. Jamie was super responsive and helpful. Would love to visit again in the fall!

This was my first Tentrr experience and I couldn’t be more happy. The site was perfect in every single way. The family that runs this site has thought of literally everything to make the experience as comfortable, convenient, relaxing and special as possible. Location is amazing, two minute walk and I was floating in the lake in a tube. Also really close to restaurants and other things in town. We brought and cooked most of our meals on the fire, but went to brunch one morning and sat lakeside, which was great. This trip was everything I wanted it to be. Communicate with Jaime when packing, they had a lot of supplies that we brought and if I’d asked her what she had beyond the tentrr list I could have packed lighter. Already thinking of when I can come back!

Jaime, Jeff, Jack, and Tootsie were wonderful campkeepers, offering the perfect balance of hospitality and privacy. The campsite and outhouse were immaculately cared for. Amernities are plentiful. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier experience and can't wait to return!! Thank you!!

We had a great time! Everything was set up and ready to go. We had plenty of firewood and the wood burning stove kept us toasty in cold weather. The site is on 88 acres of beautiful land, so you don't need to go far if you like hiking. I highly recommend.

Jamie and her husband proved to be wonderful hosts: wildflowers on the picnic table when we arrived, tiki torches on the deck, plenty of firewood, a cozy tent with a quilt on the air mattress, and convenient side tables. They provided us with plenty of water and re-stocked our firewood. Jamie also booked massages for us (above & beyond!) and helped us out with our tour of Woodstock. They also checked in with us throughout the weekend to see if we needed anything more. We could not have asked for better hosts. The campsite itself is tucked among homes scattered along a dead-end road. You don't see any of their neighbors from the campsite; the view is limited to the woods surrounding the site. The lake is not visible either, but is a short walk away. We were especially grateful for the outhouse they built, which from what we understand is not standard for Tentrr. It should be. Finally, I did not give a full five stars because we all agreed that $365 for two nights' camping (for 8 campers= 4 adults, 4 children, and 1 upgrade for firewood) was a bit too expensive. Just our humble opinion, you may think otherwise.

We have Tentrr'd multiple times now and Swinging Bridge is definitely one or faves! The owners are really "on it", the site was beautifully put together and well supplied....very private but not remote like some other sites. We were also grateful for the fact that it was set back from the lake and in the trees as that provided shade from the intense sun and heat. One very nice convenience I had not yet experienced with Tentrr was the proper "outhouse", a wood structure that offers a lot more privacy than the "bucket with a seat" that many other sites have. There are some great restaurants within 10-15 mins drive (notably "The Fat Lady" which is right on the lake and has awesome sunsets as well as great food!) Other things we had fun doing included renting a little 24HP boat at Swinging Bridge Lake Marina for 4hrs (we explored the full length/9 miles of it!) and then on our third and final day Jamie left us tickets for the Woodstock Museum at Bethel Woods which was a fascinating and fun trip! We'll definitely be back!

This was my first Tentrr experience and it was above + beyond my expectations. Jamie was an amazing host - her campsite is beautiful, clean, and well-equipped with just about anything you will need for a camping trip. Jamie supplied us with plenty of water and even provided us with a cooler filled with bottled water. Jamie went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and checked in with us throughout the day. We had a great time reading by the campfire and strolling through the woods with our pup. There is also a lake within walking distance from the campsite, but it was not very well-kept. It is a public lake and it looked like it had seen better days. There was an unpleasant odor and lots of garbage, broken glass and fish carcasses. I would recommend driving out to explore another lake nearby if you want to swim! Overall it was a fantastic experience and a perfect little getaway from the city and we'd love to return soon. Thank you Jamie for being a wonderful host!

The campsite was awesome and Jamie is a wonderful host! We arrived late at night - there was a fire ready for us, an awesome cooking setup including all necessary utensils and accessories, and awesome seating and spaces ready for our use. The only complaint that I have is the beach area was not quite as expected, though it was definitely usable and a nice place to sit and read/hang out. We were able to drive up to right next to the site, had everything ready and waiting for us, including a cooler with ice and water, and had a great, relaxing weekend. Access to the concert venue was an added bonus and the area feels safe and comfortable!
