“Everything was as advertised – beautiful, clean and secluded. Check in was easy with Ben and he was friendly and helpful. We got the cooler w/ ice and firewood add ons to round out the amenities. Lots of trails to explore and trees to pitch your hammock. Super quiet and peaceful site. Highly recommend!”
“We loved our stay so much! The site is gorgeous, the bed is comfortable, the tent withstood some amazing rain storms, and we used the charcoal grill every day. Ben was an excellent camp keeper and showed us everything we needed. We will definitely be back.”
“We had a wonderful time. The Wooded Site is fairly far back (I think about a half mile) and does require an all terrain vehicle, or at least a car with good shocks and struts to get to. Once you're there you have a beautiful clearing under a canopy of trees with a small precipice overlooking your site. We saw a black bear sniffing around there early one AM. Just remember to follow the instructions and the bears won't bother you. We ended up using the Inn's shower which was a very nice amenity. You're close to lots of great locations including the spectacular Kaaterskill Falls. Would definitely go back!”

“The site was very secluded a peaceful. Despite being a holiday weekend, we didn't see anyone else in the park even though the other sites were indeed booked. Ben was extremely helpful and always available if needed. It was really cool to be able to walk around the abandoned zoo and explore all of the structures. We would definitely return to check out the other sites now that we have experienced one!”
“Excellent hospitality and the Wooded Site is fantastic. Exploring the abandoned zoo was all the hiking we needed and made for so much fun. Only downside was the rifle range nearby that we were unaware of. Scared the dog a bit, but otherwise... Great!”
