Honestly and selfishly, I don't want to rave about this place too much because I know it will decrease the availability for me the next time and I plan on many next times here! “My wife and I stayed at Hogan's Landing a year or so back (just getting around to reviewing it now!) The host was very friendly showing us around the place, he has a lot of plans to continue building it out. His pond was beautiful, we took a couple walks down to it and over his airstrip (yes you read that right) to cool off in the incredibly clean pond. In the evenings we relaxed by a camp fire and would see him occasionally hop in his plane and take off for a bit before coming back - seemed as natural as hopping on a bike for a quick ride seeing him take off and land. We hope to return sometime!”
“Campsite was HUGE and beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice. Tim was a great host who answered any and all questions and was a super nice guy. We happened to visit during an unprecedented cold time (the nights hit 30-32 degrees!) so he made sure to provide us gas space heaters which were life saving. All the essentials to camping were provided and luckily we had some good cell phone service there! The only hitch was getting rid of our garbage. Like most campsites, it is take out what you bring in but unfortunately since it was a Sunday we had a hard time finding a dumpster / waste management company to help dispose of the trash. Luckily we ended up figuring it out but just a note if you bring a big group here and you're likely to accumulate a lot of trash, please plan ahead / keep this in mind! Can't wait to come back here next year during the Summer when it's warmer to take advantage of the pond fully!”

“The pictures do not do Hogan's landing justice. The three hour drive up from NYC was well worth it. Tim and Michelle are such gracious hosts. They were both so responsive and accommodating of our needs. A wonderful place to take a large family of kids adults and pets to disconnect. We loved the views the hiked the pond the amenities. Can't wait to come back for years and years. Such a great value for the money.”
