“This was my 3rd time doing tentrr, and this site is by far the best I’ve encountered. Tim is a wonderful host. He is thoughtful and considerate, it’s clear that he’s taken a great deal of time to ensure that guests have a solid experience. He’s installed running water and a place to shower. The tentrr tent is clean and has a well running heater installed for colder nights. He’s also built two cabins on the site (which are almost fully up and running), so this is a good site for a larger crowd. Tim made sure we had heaters to keep warm (we had a couple of chilly nights, even in May!), and I’d suggest ordering extra firewood from him ($20 and he brings a good amount). The site was really clean, and it’s carry-In and carry out (so make sure you have enough room in your vehicle to take your garbage with you). The surrounding woods and field are clean and safe. We had no encounters with animals, other than my nutty dog running happily all over the place. You have to drive (or walk) down the hill to the lake, but it’s worth it. Tim provided a paddle board and 2 canoes to enjoy the lake if you don’t feel like swimming. The lake is pristine, though, and my kids loved it. There are also some nice trails nearby. You don’t hear any nearby noise, so it’s really nice because you feel pretty isolated. At the same time, you can drive 5 min into town for a supermarket run. All in all, this was a perfect site. If you’re looking to try tentrr for the first time, this is the place to do it! If you’re a tentrr veteran, this site will blow you away. We’ll definitely be back, thank you so much Tim!”
“Hogan’s Landing was everything we hoped it would be. Tim was incredibly hospitable, accommodating and my wife and I were amazed at all the work Tim has done and is currently wrapping up on some enhancements to his property. Hogan’s Landing is definitely a return destination for us if we get the chance!”
“Quite a place! The location is next to a small private airfield, so there is plenty of wide-open space to hike around, along with an old open-top control tower that makes the perfect place to sit and read while you survey the surroundings. Definitely staying here again when I'm back in upstate New York!”
“This is a great stay and the host is working to add even more extra amenities to the camp. The page doesn’t do this place justice. Beautiful scenery, lots of things to do, and great communication with the host. He goes out of his way to make it a good stay; even had a fire going for us when we arrived the first night. Will come again!”
