“I cannot say enough good things about our trip. Tim is nothing short of amazing. The property is absolutely stunning. The pond was clean and warm, we used floaties and swam all day every day we were there. Tim and his wife also came down and set up the zip line which several of us used and loved. The planes coming in and out is so fun to watch! Tentrr needs to do something about the mattresses tho... An air mattress on a wood frame is so loud and uncomfortable. I would say tentrr is basically irrelevant to the trip as we ended up using our own tent and ordered a porta potty. We will camp with Tim again, but not through Tentrr.”
“Tim was such a wonderful host and his property was even better!! Beautiful views, amazing clean swimmable pond and some fun water toys all provided and just a short walk from the campsite. You don't even need to leave his property, you can wonder around for days. Campsite was super clean and he even installed a sink so washing dishes is super easy. His property is like an adult sleep away camp that you have just to yourself. I went with a group of 8 and we all had the time of our lives. I can't recommend this site enough!!!”
“Sorry we had to leave without saying goodbye Tim! Thanks again for a great stay. We stayed at Hogan’s Landing for one cold night in October but were plenty warm in the tent thanks to the radiant heater Tim put in. Behind the tent there’s even a proper outdoor sink, shower, and solar light which you likely won’t find at other sites! It made for a nice Fall weekend with pumpkin picking and hiking nearby, great views of the foliage, and a trip to Howe Caverns. Thanks again!”
“This was our first camping experience with Tentrr and it exceeded expectations.
The campsite is great with an amazing view across the valley and is very easy to get to. Tim, the Camp Keeper, has made some improvements, including running cold water, a propane heater inside of the tent for the colder months, and a light at night to illuminate the inside of the tent and part of the outside, if you would like. I'm sure he'll be making more improvements as time goes on as well. There was plenty of firewood available as well.
The Camp Keeper Tim was awesome as well. He went above and beyond to get us set up at the campsite, including adding some carpeting to the deck and inside to help with the mud from the rain that day, providing a charcoal grill in case we wanted to use that for cooking, and giving us a tour of his property and airplane hanger. He's a great guy in general and you could tell he just wanted us to have a good experience.
We'll definitely be back in the summer with more friends to take advantage of the pond and zipline on the property.
If you're looking to get out of the city and have a great experience in nature without roughing it too much, then this is the perfect Tentrr spot for you.”
