Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“We loved our time there. Nick was so graciously waiting for us when we got there WAY later than planned (a duck smashed into our windshield). The area where the tent is, is beautiful and
You really don’t see anyone else around. His land is huge and beautiful. I’m saving it for future!”
“Super comfortable space. Cute. Pooping in a bag is not the best— a composting toilet would make more sense to me? Loved the property. The ram was not in a fenced in area but roamed around our campsite which would have been so welcomed except our dog was more curious than was good for him! Sorry, ram. Nice bird activity, fun to see the cranberry bogs. Would recommend for sure.”
“The best camp site ever! Privacy in an amazing setting. Quiet and peaceful. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Gracious hosts who are quick to accommodate. We honestly sleep better here than at home, so comfortable. Book it now!”
“We were greeted by friendly sheep and other animals, and a chill and helpful owner who promptly helped us with everything we needed. My 9 year old daughter said she was homesick for our Tentrr as we drove away. We were very grateful to be able to fly across country and camp with minimal supplies!”
“Imagine wild eucalyptus wafting through the air as you relax in an open field with a vibrant sunset dipping behind a picturesque tree line. That’s what it’s like camping at Black Moon Farms. The land was beautiful, the owner warm and accommodating, and beach access is a short drive away. We very much enjoyed the ease of staying on private property instead of trying to find a campground with vacancy and fight for limited resources.
Although the listing said to bring your own firewood, it was provided for us by the host. They also provided a 5-gal water jug that they even refilled for us. One thing to keep in mind is that this tent and platform stays outside all the time, so spiders are prevalent. We had our baby with us, so it was more spiders than we were comfortable with. Also, there are other campsites within earshot, which really only mattered because of the baby and us not wanting to be a bother to other campers. There wasn’t a broom to sweep out the tent before we left, otherwise we would have gladly swept it out.
There was unexpected rain not in the forecast and unfortunately the tent does leak. The dog’s bed, a lot of the baby’s things and both of our phones got wet in the night while we were sleeping. Aside from the leaking tent and spiders, our stay was wonderful! We loved chatting with Nick and exploring his beautiful land.
Oh! The Tentrr listing says a shower is provided but it was not. So just be prepared for that if needed. We boiled water for our hygiene needs.”
“amazing stay at a secluded cranberry farm. cute sheep roaming the property as well! campsite and tent were very clean. the host Nick was friendly and helpful! I would definitely visit again!”
“Nice tent at the meadows of Black Moon Farms. We booked for 4 persons but found only beds for 2 persons. We should have read the description better but our host Nick solved the problem. Kudos!
We had 2 nights of which 1 night the other 2 camping sites were also occupied.
Tent works well, bed is comfortable, no mosquitos, and did not need the inside stove for heating.
Although the heatwave in the Northwest, the coast is very cool (cold?) and it did not get any hotter than 60 F / 16 C, which we really enjoyed after 110 F days in the mainland.
There is a solar shower provided but is definitely too cold for me . Water is provided, a lighter, basis BBQ and fire pit equipment, fire wood, axe, camping table, trash bin and candle.
Bring a torch!
We really loved this place, giving us the outdoor feeling we have been looking for: making fire, smores, cut our own wood, reading in tranquility.
No stars at night unfortunately due to the clouds / fog.
Note: beach is not accessible from the campsite.”
