“The farm was beautiful and the tent was very picturesque. We had some issues with our check in, but the hosts were able to make things right throughout the afternoon and evening. Because it was only a one night stay, that really cut into our trip, but I was very appreciative that they were willing to correct things.”
“I am unsure if there was a miscommunication however the space was not prepared for us upon arrival. The bed was wet and had signs of mold growth. The fire place had free standing water that we had to remove in order to start a fire. The land around the tent had a multitude of sheep droppings. Luckily we had backpacking gear and a tarp to cover the bed. If you want to spend a night here be prepared with your own gear and to troubleshoot. We tried to reach out to the property owners but didn't receive and answer.”
“Very cool place to stay! An awesome camping experience with an adorable yurt and fire pit! The land is beautiful and it’s a short drive into town and to the beach! Our dog loved the stay as well! Make sure to bring a light and some camping food!”
“We loved our time camping at Cranberry Overlook. The spot is idyllic with sheep wandering around and a beautiful grassy field in front of the tent. The tent is great, comfy bed, and the stove kept us more than warm on cold evenings. The star gazing was fabulous and Nick was really friendly.
We visited some of the local spots for walks and had fish and chips in Bandon. We drove up to Sunset Bay one day for a gorgeous walk along the cliffs overlooking the sea.
Our time was very peaceful and refreshing and we loved it.
Only thing to know that isn't clear from the booking site, is there is an RV camping site on the other side of the cranberry patch. They are screened by a big hedge, but depending on the size of the RV you can see it and hear the folks there. But it still felt very private and like you had the field to yourself.”
