Paradise found! The Farm is absolute heaven. This perfect camp is tucked into the edge of a twenty-acre meadow filled with wild thyme. Sitting in our Adirondack chairs on the deck of the canvas safari tent, we had cocktails and watched the sky turn a brilliant pink while the campfire got going. The pond is exactly where you want to be on a hot day!

This trip was heaven. I had the entire top of a mountain to myself - total privacy and stunning views! I went with my dog who was electrified the minute we arrived--she knew we had come to a very alive place. I lost track of time listening to the sounds of nature and staring at the cloudscape. Mother Nature put on quite a show for us between the puffy pink sunset clouds and the raging thunderstorm all night long. THAT is an experience - sort of terrifying and amazing - and yes, we stayed completely dry! I did take a dip in the pond but it's surrounded by weeds, there are some floaty things, and it's not clear at all, so I didn't last long. DO take their advice and head to the swimming hole in Prattsville - that was awesome. Note, there is no good hiking within 40 minutes of the site, so plan on making an excursion out of your hiking plans. The owners weren't onsite that weekend but were very helpful in the writeup before I got there. I was a bit nervous about being somewhere remote and so alone, but it was actually wonderful--an epic adventure. I get the whole Tentrr thing now - it's truly a curated experience. This was the perfect getaway, and gave me the recharge I needed. Time slows down. You'll have space, at last.

The Farm was so lovely! The location is great, nobody around apart from the occasional groundskeeper. We had the best time laying in the hammock, watching the stars and cooking over the campfire. Altho the pond was a bit too ~wild~ for us to hop into, we did take turns bobbing around on the kayak and also went swimming at a nearby watering hole. Would recommend to anybody trying to get away n get rustic! The host is also very easy to reach should you need anything.

This is a beautiful location and we had such a wonderful time. The site is very secluded and we were truly on our own with lots of space to explore the woods on the property. The pond is very nearby the campsite and we had it all to ourselves. I enjoyed using the kayak to cruise around and just drift appreciating the silence. The view from the campsite is beautiful mountains and at night we were able to lean back and enjoy the Perseid meteor shower. There's a quick hike in the nearby town which took us to some interesting rock carvings and a lovely river and mountain view. There are several towns within a quick drive that offer antiquing, breweries, and shops. Also a quick drive to many ski resorts which offer hiking and zip lines. However, we spent most of our time relaxing on the property itself - cooking on the fire, reading in the hammock, going on walks to see wildlife, and enjoying the peace and seclusion. Up at the campsite it got chillier than it was down in the surrounding areas so bring a warm blanket or sleeping bag. The sun will be on the campsite in the morning and early afternoon and set behind it in the evening, which was great for us because it was a lovely atmosphere in the later afternoon and evening when we wanted to be hanging out by the fire. The host went above and beyond by providing firewood and extra amenities like reading material, a cooler, lanterns, and first aid kit. The guest book was a nice personal touch and was entertaining to read! This was our first Tentrr experience, and I think it's a great setup for city people like us without the space or car to keep and transport a bunch of camping gear. Would also be very suitable for people with kids as it removes a lot of the hassle and there's an extra tent you could set up for them. Plus, you get it all to yourselves - no neighbors like in a standard campsite. Overall, I highly recommend this campsite! Would happily return.

Total Zen! My girlfriend and I needed a weekend getaway and this site checked all the boxes. 1st time tentr. Frank was excellenty in communication before during and after our visit. He was not at his place that weekend but his dad was there and was really nice showing us where to fill our water jug at the main house. The tent is way up the back away from the main house. We thought the site was excellent with the little pond literally 50 yards away by a little cabin. We utilised the dock at the pond to relax and I had a go at the kayak on site. At night we relaxed and lit a fire. We hoisted the portable shower up on a tree near the tent and it was more than suitable. As per Frnaks guide book we went to a local watering hole and swung on the rope swing into the water under the bridge. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away. We used the main tent but there was an additional tent provided and loads of room on the meadow should you need it for more beds. Excellent stay,

Wonderful site! Swimming hole is right around the corner from tent. Our dogs loved running around everywhere and we adored the peace as we took time off to enjoy the hot days and cool nights in the Prattsville crisp air. The supermarket has everything you may need (or forget) and the ice cream at the local spot is a hit! The recommended swimming hole is very close to the shopping area, so it's just a short drive from the camp. It has an amazing view and even a waterfall. The water was shallow at the time we were there but it still was beautiful and certainly refreshing. We even went to an owl releasing event in a nearby town. Frank was extremely pleasant and very communicative before, throughout and after our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better host!

Fantastic site! It was the best of both worlds... breathtaking, expansive field and mountain views and private wooded pond for swimming! Our family absolutely loved every minute. We are pretty self sufficient and camp a few times each spring and summer, but Frank checking in on us and all the detailed communication was fantastic. The site was set up perfectly. We felt so well taken care of! It is truly a privilege to be invited to share this very special place with Frank and his family! For our visit the wildflowers were in bloom as far as the eye could see and no pictures can do justice to waking up to that view. Wow! We were also blessed with a huge full moon and a night sky overwhelmed with stars. Just gorgeous! If you are looking for your first Tentrr experience (or your one hundred and first!) Look no further...A true paradise! We can not wait to return.
