“This campsite couldn't have been more perfect for our weekend escape. The hosts were amazingly communicative and set up the site perfectly before our arrival. The location is the perfect balance of remote & accessible- the site felt like our own oasis, but it was also super easy to run into town for supplies when we wanted to.
GET THE KAYAKS! Being able to paddle down the river whenever we wanted to was such an easy luxury and really added to the trip. Also, the view of the sunset overlooking the river was one of our favorite parts of every day.
Also- when they say it's a good place for dogs to roam, they really mean it. It was a completely safe, free zone for our puppy to explore and return back to home base. Being able to let her roam really made the trip extra relaxing. We also didn't encounter any animals day or night and only ran into 1 other couple while paddling down the river.
I would absolutely recommend staying at this campsite. The site keepers were lovely and the location was just perfect!”
“Everything about this campsite was ideal for us. We loved the canvas tent and queen bunkbeds, the picnic table, firepit, all of it! The location was right on a stream (technically the Crooked River), which was peaceful. The location felt more remote than it actually was which was a win-win. One thing to note (as is mentioned in the listing), the road to get in to the site is a dirt road that includes a pretty steep section. I was able to navigate it with my minivan (and mad skills), but you may want to consider all wheel drive or four wheel drive. Communication with the owner was great. No problems there. We look forward to using Tentrr sites again. Bottom line: if you're looking for a peaceful, quiet, and beautiful camp site, you can't do much better than this site.”
“Our campsite was everything we hoped for on a last minute escape into the woods! We opted for the extra packages which made our trip so easy & seamless! The personal touches & decorations added such a homey feel. We hope to come back some day!”
“Leah had been very easy to reach before, and during our stay. She was very friendly throughout all communications! Although we got there a little later than anticipated Friday she was very accommodating still, and even left us some wood under our porch. We decided to splurge and do the extra packages in order to pack a little lighter. Although we opted to cook over the fire instead of using the grill, we were glad to have all of the dishes and what not. We messed up and somehow forgot about the coffee both mornings. I loved being able to take the kayaks out to do some leaf peeping. I actually got there after dark Friday night, but was very pleased with the view/site when I woke up Saturday morning. Friday night we heard many animals throughout the night, Saturday not so much. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, even for our (not so outdoorsy) newbie campers that joined us.”

We spent our time loving the outdoors by swimming and kayaking in the river, cooking over our fire, and gazing at the beautiful stars that filled the sky.
